Deals: PS3 with $100 gift card, $20 Greatest Hits, Kill Bill Blu-ray

This Saturday, November 8th at 8 AM, Walmart stores will have some one-day only PS3 related deals. The 80GB PS3 will come with a $100 gift card, while the Greatest Hits titles Warhawk, Resistance and MotorStorm will be $19.82. Their virtual flyer is right here.

On a related note, Kill Bill Volumes 1 and 2 on Blu-ray are on sale today only for $27.95 on Amazon. The Whole Bloody Affair it ain't, but still a decent deal considering the price. The Bride is waiting for you right here.

im guessing this deal is only in the U.S I just checked the Canadian wall-mart and they have no such deal . Its a shame im looking to get a second ps3 for my living room but im not sure if i need a second or if i should just get a stand alone blue ray player.

I agree with Hinchy. Why not pick them up? They're cheap at $20 vs. $60, and if you want to play their predessors first, you'd really be doing yourself a disfavor IMO.....

Wish I got a $100 GC when I bought my PS3.... :(

I'm hoping ... as I have too many games to play right now...that by spring they will release 1 BD disc with both Resistances on it as a special release (since I like single player campaigns more than online).

Resistance 1 and Motorstorm 1 were pretty mediocre titles, at best. Within a one month span here we'll have more AAA releases than we know what to do with, I can't imagine wasting time that could be spent with those AAA titles right now on a couple of mediocre games.

Even if you want to play Resistance 2, which has gotten much better reviews than the 1st, you'd be better off just catching up on the story via wikipedia in a couple minutes, IMHO.

nah, I was just scrolling through to see if anyone else cared about that lappy too.

It won't be playing games very well, but it has a dual core processor, 2gb of ram, and a 160gb HDD. That's a damn good deal for someone who wants a laptop for school.

Best Buy has a version of this Compaq for $550 right now that has a GeForce 8200m g. It won't be playing Crysis, but it will play Counter Strike Source. That's the guy I plan on getting once I can make sure there are XP drivers for it, so I can wipe Vista And dual boot with XP.
