First of three European LittleBigPlanet TV spots revealed
Check this out. It's the first European advert for LittleBigPlanet, which finally saw its release in the region this week. This thirty second TV spot focuses on the potential of the Create mode in a family context. There are two more TV spots to be revealed later this week, though there's no word on when they're going to be broadcast or on what channels. All we know is that they're Europe-wide, though some regions will likely localize them. We'll have the others for you as soon as SCEE sends them our way.

Hmm, the accent sounds more Australian then it does UK. Anyone else agree?
Seeing as we (Australia) get LBP on the 7th, it would make sense to air that here too.

I've already seen two ads here in Spain. This one and another one of a guy who made a level about his own music band. Maybe the three had already been broadcasted.

If "European" means it's going to be broadcast in Denmark too, then they better translate it. The geeks'n'gamers will of course have no trouble understanding it, but they've most likely already made up their mind whether to buy the game or not. But if the focus of this add really is family content, then the message should be spoken in "family language", so the younger children and their mums and dads get the message.
But seriously, I think Sony is overplaying this "create and share" thing. Sure it's an awesome feature, and I can't wait to try it out.
But again, with respect to the above family focus, don't you think it'll scare some away because it sounds too complicated? Isn't the game itself so exceptionally cute and fun that perhaps Sony should emphasise that in their message? Perhaps one or two of the those TV adds should keep the game editor out. Just a thought =)

Interesting, here in Italy the commercial is totally different: it shows a Planet dedicated to an ex-Gf.. With the bad big (and ugly) boss actually being her. Presented by the voice of an italian comic actor. Pretty funny, as the game is! :p
