American PSN releases for November 6th

Ready for today's American PSN update? It's actually fairly similar to the European update, but without a few key items such as Theme Park, the MotorStorm costume and the "Week 1" rare t-shirt for LittleBigPlanet. You guys do get an episode of Qore, though, which promises to show off some interesting Home footage. There's also the usual bunch of DLC packs. Honestly, these update posts are taking longer and longer to write up each week. Less content, please! We kid, we kid ...

I find it weird that us in North America had to wait for the one week late Pumpkin Head Costume and the Space Suit Costume, only to not get the Week 1 T-Shirt. It looks like North America isn't getting it but I don't care because I wouldn't of paid money for it. But it just annoys me that they said it would come this week in the Playstation Blog but never released it in the store. For the price it is though no wonder it is rare.

Otherwise its a somewhat alright update I guess. I am happy they came out with a MGS4 demo. I would've liked more demos though but its alright. Lots of games to play right now.

I thought Qore annual sub were suppose to be added to the "Home Beta" on episode 6. Episode 6 has arrived and no indication/info on getting into the beta.

They would likely give the beta out via email, at least thats how they sent out the Resistance 2 betas to Qore subscribers.

Three weeks and the PSP still gets nothing! Way to go Sony - you're sure showing North America how much you truly support your device.

Why the heck did you release the PSN if there's not going to be anything "new" on it

Sigh...I suppose Sony answer will be "there there, just wait and everything will be better in the future". CFW anyone? ;)

Man, I got all excited when I saw Europe get Theme Park for PS1, I always loved that game when I was a kid. I wouldn't have minded buying that.

I am new to PS3. I downloaded and install Metal Gear Solid 4 demo. When I try to play using ps3 dualshock controller, it takes me all the way to the language setup page and I cannot move forward. I pressed all buttons and nothing happens. I aslo noticed the same for mirror edge and endwar demo, it takes me to the screen to press start button and nothing happens. Am I missing someting?

in fact, have you got a guitar hero dongle or something in your USB port? - They usualy take up controller slot 1 and 1 player games need port 1. You may need to hold "PS" and go to controller settings and change it to "1" after unplugging any dongles or anything you've got in there.

I reckon that's what your problem sounds like.

The spacesuit and Halloween mask are cute but I hear that's the last of the freebies. Then I see that they plan on selling the costumes. It would be one thing if it came with other stuff but they plan on just selling costumes for $1 ea (not that bad, I might get King Kong) "premium" for $2 (I guess for the total MGS or FF fanboy) and "rare" for who knows how much. I don't think i'm going to be downloading too many of those.

I do like free, so I tried MGS4 and wasn't terribly entertained. Sorry, I know its huge for some but it kind of just reminded me of a tame Manhunt game. Maybe I need to play the others to "get it." The last Metal Gear game I played was the very original (nes) game which was horrible.
