£4 for the t-shirt! I snapped up the free stuff, might even get the motorstorm outfit, but 4 quid for just the t-shirt!
KarlW @ Nov 6th 2008 2:02PM
Seriously! Wasn't LBP all about sharing?
Who wants to go to Sony headquarters in the North Pole and start making them share? Beware the electrified floors and giant hamster wheels!
WhiteSpy @ Nov 6th 2008 1:13PM
4 quid is kinda expensive for a virtual T-shirt. Sorry Sackboy, you will only be wearing free clothes on my system.
drdre74 @ Nov 6th 2008 1:14PM
the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm "Storm Pack 1" was a free code for pre orders and not even a day after the game they are posting it for free? Well maybe the US store wont get that today but if so it would be great since i got the game without a pre order and want the pack.
The Pirate @ Nov 6th 2008 1:15PM
WTF!? First they say "ooo, Quick you can get your hands on a rare week 1 T-Shirt!" Then they charge you £4!? I could buy a whole PSN game for that! What a rip-off
Tim Parsons @ Nov 6th 2008 1:15PM
wow that sound an insane price so that's what like $10 US ?
lee @ Nov 6th 2008 1:26PM
its £1= $2 so it $8
its a total rip, i bet people caught up in the hype will buy this, then regret it a few weeks later
Tim Parsons @ Nov 6th 2008 1:33PM
Ok so about $8 US so still gonna be $10 CDN for me ,. damn that's crazy, that's the price of small PSN games
Kspraydad @ Nov 6th 2008 1:37PM
For the moment US/CDN prices are still aligned on PSN store.
DeathroW @ Nov 6th 2008 1:15PM
"Sure, it costs four quid, but who are we kidding? We'll still grab it."
Damn right! - Already did, without hesitation, infact i don't think i even looked at the price till i had downloaded it.
sackboy @ Nov 6th 2008 1:19PM
wow.. im not gonna pay for little items like that that should be free what are they thinking its bad enough the servers are down for over 8 hours! but they want me to PAY! for little coustume's!?!..please. i will be sharing with a friend whos dumb enough to buy them.
strike @ Nov 6th 2008 1:35PM
Wow, you think very highly about the ones you care for >_>
Vincent @ Nov 6th 2008 1:21PM
It blows that the week 1 t-shirt is paid (even worse that it's so expensive). Seriously, I thought it was supposed to be something to stimulate people to grab the game early..
Popfrogs @ Nov 6th 2008 2:26PM
I think it is designed to mark the first week of overpriced DLC for the game. Expect to see more if people fall for this one.
morningdrive @ Nov 6th 2008 1:25PM
theme park!!!! yes!!! ok i have a question I am from the usa but i want to get theme park. can i pay with a credit card from here if i make a eu account? and how much is 4.99 in USD?
SourceJR @ Nov 6th 2008 1:30PM
I'm pretty sure that it will be in pal and you wont be able to play it. PS3 games are region free not ps1 or 2 games. so even if your able to buy it it probably wont work.
morningdrive @ Nov 6th 2008 1:31PM
aww that kinda sux...
Kazper @ Nov 6th 2008 4:16PM
Don't listen to him. First of all - you can download PS1 games from the PSN and use them in other regions. I'm in Europe and have several PS1 games downloaded from the US store. Secondly, PAL is not an issue, since PS3 uses hdmi/component connections - and modern flat-screen TVs don't have a PAL/NTSC distinction anymore at all anyway.
morningdrive @ Nov 6th 2008 4:19PM
will i be able to use it on the psp though? thats mainly why i want it for on the go. well i'll wait and see if it comes to the us store update..if not ill see what i can do. thnx for the help
Jordan @ Nov 6th 2008 1:27PM
Why is GH:WT dlc so gosh darn expensive?
They're £1 more than Rock Band.
They better change the pricing of them, because I'm not buying one song for £1.59 unless it's a song about me.
Kspraydad @ Nov 6th 2008 1:36PM
I'm speechless. (I can still type but I'm speechless).
Those prices are insane.
lego91994 @ Nov 6th 2008 2:11PM
Read again, only 2 of the RB songs are 0.59, the rest are 0.99 (which the majority of rock band DLC is released at), compared to the GH prices of 1.59.
Still more expensive, but not as much more as you are saying
Fogh @ Nov 6th 2008 2:12PM
LOL. Good one! :D
Yeah, I'm sticking to RB, too, until they lower the price...
Jake @ Nov 6th 2008 1:34PM
with the lack of money i have due to credit crunch that is a very very high price to be asking for, even if i had the money...
really can't wait to see what the alone in the dark games like
elephant_stone @ Nov 6th 2008 1:36PM
f-f-f-FOUR QUID?!
Jerses @ Nov 6th 2008 1:45PM
LBP download should have been inside LBP not in the store. Everyone will get this one will shirt or the free ones without having the game. I thought it was a reward for early adopters. Also i hope future customes cost less.
Zim @ Nov 6th 2008 1:53PM
Fuckers, I hate all this microtransaction shit.
Especialy when the prices are high for practicle nothing.
I bet it only took 1 hours work to make the dam LBP things as well.
Algernon @ Nov 6th 2008 1:53PM
what the?? 4 for the t-shirt... as much as i want it im going to have to pass...
cylet @ Nov 6th 2008 1:53PM
street fighter HD where are you?????
Mark Gubarenko @ Nov 6th 2008 1:54PM
got free costumes already last week from singapore store. LOL )))
why they was there so early?
Joe @ Nov 6th 2008 1:56PM
£1.59 for a single song? Are Activision having a laugh? Activision, are you having a laugh?
(Extras FTW)
and3rsn1elsen @ Nov 6th 2008 2:14PM
No Haloween Costume in Danish store, not yet atleast.
I hope we get it, it'll be a nice mix with my moustace, sackdoll and tuxedo. (Yes, i know i'm the ugliest sackboy on LittleBigPlanet)
superchriswebsite1 @ Nov 6th 2008 2:21PM
the MGS 4 demo is on the aussie store
freeblue @ Nov 6th 2008 2:26PM
wth.. you have to pay for those? i thought they're bonus for being "there" the first week it comes out.
bassiks @ Nov 6th 2008 3:03PM
So i take it they've stopped making DLC for GH3?
Unless GH:WT DLC works with GH3.
Wadey @ Nov 6th 2008 3:17PM
I got a CA version of the LBP, downloaded the free stuff from the UK store but it doesn't show up in the game. Does that mean that in-game content is region locked?
Tim Parsons @ Nov 6th 2008 4:59PM
yup , if you had the UK version of the game that content would work fine. I tried the same thing also tried it from the Japan store a few days ago
Wadey @ Nov 6th 2008 5:13PM
I know if I had the UK game then the content that I download from the UK store would work, thats not what I asked if you read my question correctly.
Wadey @ Nov 6th 2008 3:20PM
Oh and £3.99 for the t-shirt is just a rip off isn't it.
davebo @ Nov 6th 2008 3:47PM
I'm sorry but anyone seen wearing that t-shirt during online play is going to get mocked and punched in the game for paying 4 quid. Does anyone else agree that punching is the best feature in LBP :)
1664 @ Nov 6th 2008 4:20PM
nice to see mm treating there 1st weekers with a overpriced t-shirt lol .... still on the plus side im glad its that crappy shirt that costs £4 and not the spacesuit coz i like the spacesuit but wouldnt have paid $4 for it, ud think for £4 ud get a few bits and bobs & that motorstorm thing is only £1.59, which also looks better, anyways the best item was free imo so im not moaning too much
wako @ Nov 6th 2008 4:26PM
why is this stuff not on US PSN store?! wtf
shawn @ Nov 6th 2008 7:38PM
Are these items on the US store yet or still on Europe?
diangelogrey @ Nov 6th 2008 8:04PM
Sony are disgusting for charging for that t-shirt, it was hyped as a bonus for getting LBP in week one and now it is just a way to sponge more money. What a joke... Sony you make me sick on this one..
supa_s @ Nov 6th 2008 8:48PM
will the LBP costumes (motorstorm and t-shirt) work on my US game?
Wadey @ Nov 7th 2008 2:48AM
I have the US game and the free UK content doesn't work on it whereas the free US content does. I wouldn't risk wasting the money on it. Couldn't see the rip-off t-shirt in the US store though, maybe its only us getting ripped off with it, or was it there before as they had the game a week or so earlier than us?
Think Adrian @ Nov 7th 2008 1:41PM
My god! So that's why they won't work on my PS3! I live in Europe but bought the US version. Is there a way to get them working?
Junction @ Nov 7th 2008 4:25AM
Um, from what I gathered, only the spacesuit and Halloween costumes were free the first week. The 't-shirt' never even registered on my radar -- also, why would it? It looks ridiculous, perhaps it might appeal to all those adolescent t-shirt fetishists.

JaffaBoy @ Nov 7th 2008 8:20AM
I am so praying that there are *VERY* few idiots who pay for this, then perhaps it'll get the message across that we are not falling for the hype of a "special DLC".
Micropayments = micro = very-small
I dont fall for the .69p pain crap so I'm not going for this crap too.
You could charge 25p / 50c and get a lot more uptake = probably more income with number of people playing the damn game who would d/l without worrying about it.
