Rock Band DLC brings The Colour and the Shape of the Foo Fighters

As we learned late August, Rock Band will be getting the Foo Fighters album The Colour and the Shape as DLC. It looks Harmonix will be bringing it to us next week. Here are the tracks:

"Up in Arms"

"Enough Space"
"February Stars"
"Walking After You"
"New Way Home"

Where is Everlong, you ask? That's already on the Rock Band 2 disc. Each song will be priced individually at $1.99 while the entire album will cost $19.99. Look for them next week on Thursday, November 11th on the PlayStation Store.

Rock on!!! I saw Dave Grohl [of Foo Fighters] onstage in a concert with Paul McCartney doing Beatles songs a few months ago!! Would be nice to play "Band On The Run" in Rock Band -- but the version with Dave Grohl on guitar !

Is this for rock band 2? if not, can it be used on rock band 2?

Any and all DLC for Rock Band can be played on either Rock Band 1 or Rock Band 2.

$20 seems steep, even for a great album like this. It would only be $24 as separate songs and you probably wouldn't buy all of them. Harmonix needs to make its package deals better values, like 2/3 the individual prices. The base price of $2 each is reasonable if you love the songs, however.

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. I can't wait to play "My Hero" on drums. Also when February Stars kicks in I get so emotional. There are so many great moments on this album. Each track changes the pace of the album perfectly. This really is a classic pop rock album. I just hope the note charts are good.
