Q. I see that Puzzle Quest has been put on the Playstation Store. The original UMD release had an issue where none of your traveling companions gave you any benefit. Have you heard if the bug has been fixed in this version, or is it a straight port from the UMD?
A. No additional details have been released with the addition of Puzzle Quest to the PlayStation Store; This is a direct port of hte UMD game.
Q. How do you take a screenshot with the PSP? I thought I read that feature was included in the 5.0 firmware update.
A. This is available in only select PSP games. Games like Wipeout Pulse will allow you to take screenshots in a special "screenshot mode."
Q. If you buy a PS1 game on the PS store (Ex.Crash Bandicoot: Warped), would you need a PS3 to put it on your PSP?
A. While you can certainly use a PS3 to transfer content to your handheld, you can now download PlayStation Store content directly from your PSP (firmware 5.00+), or even the PC PlayStation Store.

Q. The recent problem with the new PSP 3000, with the screen, is this a problem with all the PSP's or just a few?
A. We reported in this screen issue a couple weeks ago, stating that it does appear to affecting all current PSP-3000 models.
Q. Will Sony ever update the Flash Player on the PSP like they did with the latest PS3 Firmware?
A. Newer versions of the Flash Player require more in the way of hardware resources, something that Sony will have to look at and determine if the PSP capable of. It's unlikely that the PSP will receive a Flash 9 update, like the recent PS3 update.
Q. Whatever happened to the 2008 release of the GPS attachment for the PSP in North America?
A. We're still expecting the GPS peripheral to launch in North America, though Sony may announce a delay soon, with only a couple months left in the 2008 year. Both the GPS and keyboard peripherals are expected to be released by 2009.
Q. Are downloaded games from the PSP enabled PSN store locked to a particular PSP?
A. You're allowed to re-download/transfer PlayStation Store on up to five PSP systems. You can always deactivate a PSP system using a PS3 if you ever get a new system.

If the Wii can, I´m sure the PS3 can...
Gurbinder @ Nov 8th 2008 3:42PM

@Strike...
Yes...Youtube has been available on PS3 for quite awhile...Flash 9 was not necessary for it as Youtube uses Flash 6.

when i install media manager for psp and it ask me something and i wasnt paying attention and i click yes or something then for some reason my psp cant play my downloaded games anyone know wat happen?
Gurbinder @ Nov 8th 2008 3:45PM
Thats strange. Try deleting them then put them on your memory stick again. You should be able to considering that your psp is registered to the psn. Maybe it disconnected?
Otherwise activate your psp again and then download them off the psn network again :/ I'm guessing the demos arent working either if the games arent working.
kekey @ Nov 8th 2008 3:53PM

RE: The transfer of PS store games.
Does that mean that I could d/l one copy of a given game and my wife and I could have it simultaneously loaded on our PSP's?
Pepe @ Nov 9th 2008 6:50PM
Yes you can, but both PSP's need to be logged in to the same account that the game was purchased from. I did the same for my PSP, my g/f's PSP, and my sister's PSP as well.

I have the puzzle quest download and the bug where none of your traveling companions give you any benefit is still there and making me very angry indeed.
wem003 @ Nov 8th 2008 10:00PM
Tom - sorry you had to find out by buying. I've been posting that question everywhere, and yours is the first answer I've seen. I guess I will get it for the PS3.
Sorry again dude..
HalcyonGT @ Nov 9th 2008 11:59AM
Meh, Puzzle Quest cheats anyway. You were never intended to win/enjoy the game. Delete...delete...delete.
Barry32171 @ Nov 9th 2008 1:21PM
Still no answer about being able to use Audible content... Has Sony never been asked this question, or is everyone only focused on games? It is a multimedia device, afterall.
andwhyisit @ Nov 9th 2008 10:03PM
"ill Sony ever update the Flash Player on the PSP like they did with the latest PS3 Firmware?"
The PSP flash player got an unannounced Flash 6/7 hybrid upgrade during an update somewhere between 3.90 and 4.00. Very few people actually know about this.
snikery121 @ Nov 11th 2008 9:14AM
Why still when i go to the PSP store it still says that i dont have enough free space on my memory stick. I have version 5.01 and i know for a fact that i have enough space.
David Black @ Nov 11th 2008 12:49PM
You have to have twice the memory space required free. You have to have the space to download the file as well as the space to then install or unzip the downloaded file. Hope that makes sense...
