Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of November 9th

Not the biggest week ever (unless you're in Japan), but at least that means Mirror's Edge will get the attention it deserves. While you're not running and jumping across buildings Americans will have a chance to go back to World War II, while Europeans will have plenty to sing about with two SingStar titles. Here's the full release list:

Release dates are constantly subject to change, so be sure to check with your local retailer before heading out. Your PS3 is region free, so feel free to import any of the above titles. Do, however, keep in mind that downloadable content is locked to specific regions, so you'll need to get your DLC for US games from the US PSN Store.

I'm still on the fence about Mirror's Edge... the demo was fun, but I can't imagine doing that for an entire game - there's only so much you can do before it starts getting repetitive.

Definitely picking up COD though, despite being mildly skeptical... WWII games haven't done it for me yet, but I'm hoping this changes that!

well i think cod 5 might sell a million even if it's not that good because it has a legacy from the COD4 9 million copies were sold so u heard me but if it turns out to be a good game then i would be happy to spend on it 60 bucks and eat eggs and tomatoes all month long

Too add a note to region locked DLC, i have an asian copy of LBP and a gamestop redemption code. I've redeemed and downloaded the costume (i keep a US acc for all my rockband DLC) My kratos costume hasn't popped up for my LBP, so i assume the DLC is locked to US versions of LBP.

Yeah, if you want to use DLC for a game, the region of the game and the region of the store you're getting DLC from have to be the same. You can't mix games and DLC regions. So though your Asian copy of LBP works on your PS3, you can only use DLC from the Asian PS Store for that game. I'm pretty sure that's how it is.

I'm not understanding all the negativity towards COD:WAW. Maybe it's b/c I'm one of the few people on earth that haven't played COD 1-3, so to me, it's all fresh and new. I tried the beta on the 360, and it's alot of fun just like COD4, but with graphical improvements (looks smoother, broader color palette), and less linear maps.

As for Mirror's Edge, I gave the demo a try and I liked it, but I may hold back from buying it immediately since I already spent alot of money this past month alone and there's also a finite amount of time to play all those games at once. ;)

I don't really think there is any negativity towards COD:WOW really, i've played the beta also and its not bad by any means. If you enjoyed COD4 then you'll definitely enjoy this. But thats the problem it is a 100% copy and paste of COD4's gameplay. So it might feel like a been there done that kind of game.
But i suppose there is a reason its World at War and not COD5, its just an expansion pack really not a true sequel.
