What happens when you cross Mainichi Issho and Hot Shots Golf?

That cat from Mainichi Issho is showing up everywhere nowadays! In addition to making an appearance as a costume for the Japanese version of LittleBigPlanet, Sony's favorite kitty cat Toro is also getting a 600 yen (about $6 USD) game that crosses over with Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (Minna no Golf 5 in Japan). Titled Minnya no Putter Golf, the add-on stars Jasmine and Toro in a tee-off in a golf course within the Mainichi Issho game. This looks and sounds like something that will stay strictly Japan-only.

I miss mini golfing in Hot Shots :( btw, hope they ad trophies.

There'd better not be ad trophies, that'd piss me off more than anything. "PEPSI TROPHY EARNED"
On a completely unrelated note, I hope they add trophies.

I remember seeing this in one of the daily news casts about 2 weeks ago on Mainichi Issho (while whoring for my free trophies)...I hope they can get this Stateside. Love my Toro.
BTW...awesome to see an eyeVio video for once in my life...I don't understand why SONY doesn't leverage eyeVio and Crackle more on the PS3.

I am with you Kspraydad. I love me some Toro, but quit using it once it got so many features that I couldn't keep up. The PSP one is great, but I really want an english version. I don't see why they didn't bring this over! It was the fist game with in game XMB, custom soundtracks, trophies, RSS support, and all kinds of other things. Toro is on the cutting edge, strangely. If nothing else, it is an amazing tech demo of firmware to come, and for that I love it.

I'd like to see an English version of this as well. It's just a matter of translating the text, right? I can't tell you how many times I've downloaded it from the Japanese store, only to delete it a little while later because I don't know what's going on... and then I download it again.

That's what's kept me from getting the new HSG. I really liked the mini golf in the last one, since for some reason mini golf is the one thing that NOBODY can do even a halfway decent job on. It's either boring or impossible. But HSG4 had a good mix of technical and 'fun' holes, even without any castles or spirals.

I'd like to pick up a copy HSG, but I just can't justify the 60 dollars right now.
