Check out this incredible 2D Mirror's Edge game (beta)

This is really sick. EA has teamed up with Borne Games to create a 2D version of Mirror's Edge. The beta, which is available here, is incredibly well made. The visuals are silky smooth, and the music is taken straight from the game. Even better: the controls work incredibly well, translating Faith's fluid movements into 2D. EA, we think you have a winner here. Why not make this a PSN/PSP game for us to buy?

That's so cool. Haven't played the actual Mirror's Edge yet, but this will keep me from getting bored till I get my hands on it^^

same man! i'm so anxious to play it! I'm renting it tomorrow evening as havent got enough funds to buy it yet. Working in EB Games holding a copy this morning is torture! lol

I just left a comment asking if this could be a downloadable title for the PSP. I would pay $20 bucks to play this on my PSP

urghhh dont remind me! Sorry but I cant be alone not liking LBP. It's not my kind of thing at all. Dont shout at me but I just have no interest in the game and find it boring. My opinion of course.

Seems as tho the link is broken, the site will not load.

Looks kinda of neat from the picture posted.
Almost like the original Prince of Persia.

The vertical wall climbing to reach higher areas can be unwieldy sometimes, and the detection for Faith to latch onto handles can be too precise at times, causing a hella lot of frustration for me, but overall, the game's a joy to play.

I was playing this for a while last night and it was great fun. It immediately reminded me of that 2D Portal game from like a year ago. The fun I had with that game and would have with more levels of this game just prove that while fancy 3d graphics may be nice, they aren't always required just to have a good time.
