EGM's Quartermann: LittleBigPlanet will be released next year?

EGM's Quartermann is at it again. The latest gossip from the infamous rumormonger are as follows (via Kotaku): "The LBP universe will also continue to evolve next year with the release of the PSP version: Q-Mann hears it's fantastically ambitious and will further flesh out the PS3 LBP experience."
No further details were given. However, this is consistent with the word on the street -- we have already heard two similar rumors. An insider told CVG back in April Studio Liverpool will be developing the handheld version while in October we saw a job listing on SCEE's website seeking a "PSP game engine lead" to oversee "LittleBigPlanet projects." Maybe this third time is the charm?

I'm not too sure this would work on the PSP. maybe a remote play option that lets you play just the platforming aspect of the game from the psp would be kinda cool.

God yes

From my experience Remote Play sucks. It's a great idea, but my Internet connection just doesn't cut it. I think a LPB PSP version exactly copying the PS3 version would be great. Although the multiplayer and community level aspect would have to be tweaked since a persistent connection on the PSP is not advisable/possible.

I like remote play. I often pull up my PS3 at night from the floor above it. Works flawlessly.

I like the idea of LBP on the PSP, but I don't want to have to own a PS3 and the PS3 version of the game to be able to play it.
But more platformers are always good. And I hear Stephen Fry is involved with LBP. If I could have Stephen Fry in my platformer, I'd be a happy camper.

level creater should be a must. Then you can submit your levels via infrastructure and play other people's online

Mega Man: Powered Up already set the precedent, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think I'll ever buy a PS3, especially in the current climate, so this is welcome news. If this is as any good as Blast Works then this should be a right treat.

Only one word to describe what I am feeling right now and that word is "Excited".

...anywhere?
[It's a guess the source game!]
