Here's the official European box art for
Killzone 2. Just because.
- Majed Athab - I was going to play Call of Duty: World at War this weekend, but I finished it yesterday. I also finally picked up Dead Space, which I'm hoping to finish. Then, if time permits me, there'll be some more Resistance 2 somewhere in there. Oh and the "packing game" because I'll be traveling on Monday.
- Jem Alexander - Mirror's Edge is ridiculously addictive, so no doubt I'll be continuing with that this weekend. After that? God knows. Still got a million games in their shrink wrap to play, but I'll probably keep playing Valkyria Chronicles and maybe some multiplayer Quantum of Solace.
- Alan Tsang - I may unwrap my copy of Resistance 2, maybe. But I'll definitely be playing more Dead Space and LittleBigPlanet.
- Andrew Yoon - Killzone 2. And not the beta. =D (Embargo ends December, folks. Can't talk about it until then!)

I'm shooting for a trophy a day, everyday, so more LBP, more HVB, more GTAIV, more more more.

As I'm a SONY whore I have no idea about Nintendo's naming habits.
My point is that Killzone 2 a: doesn't let the casual consumer know 'hey this is for PS3)...it could just be another multiplatform game. and b: Killzone wasn't the most widely accepted game on the PS2 and calling this Killzone 2 may cause people to look back at the original for and idea about the game instead of focusing on the future of the Killzone series with Killzone PS3.
Anyway...just an opinion that I'm surprised is causing people to feel so negative that they down bid it.

They could just y'know, slap one of those "Only on PlayStation" thingys on the front....of course they still haven't changed that to say "Only on PS3" for some reason.

I didn't know which FPS or RPG to buy, so what did I do? I've been playing Deus Ex: The Conspiracy again. That and I bought GT3 for $0.94. Good deals abound on PS2 games right about now.

I haven't turned my PS3 on all day, mainly because I'm tired of seeing everyone playing all the new games, and I'm flat broke to be buying new games.. so it's been a session of Diablo 2 and C&C:Zero Hour..

Well I don't really like it, either way they need to start the hype machine early for this. Resistance had absolutely 0 hype coming in.. the idiots at screwattack went as far as saying they didn't know anything about it (and these people run a gaming website, says a lot about them and what Sony does).
Take a page out of Halo's book, offer a Helgast helmet and a legendary edition for $100 or so.

I'm surprised they wouldn't push out KZ2 if it's that close to being ready and maybe delay R2 to Feb instead. With all due respect to R2, KZ2 is looking more like THE killer app.

where/when/how do you get so much time to stay in front of a TV playing? girlfriend? family? LIFE?

Fallout here, btw I heard when you complete the last mission, the game is over and you can't go back to do more side missions, what's the name of the last mission? so I don't accidentally finish it.

damn you andrew you lucky punk!! I've been wrapped up I replayed Resistance 1, beat it went to R2 and big difference very impressive, playing LBP but its frustrating trying to get all the stickers LoL going to buy CoD W@W this weekend, keep hearing good things.. Dead Space is sick highly recommend that.. How is V. Chronicles? Was looking at that today.
