We unearthed three PSN games from Creat Studios a
few weeks ago. But, what the heck are they? Creat Studios has finally officially unveiled them. All three games will feature Trophy support, and will be released this Winter.
- Magic Ball, is based on the classic Breakout arcade game, with a magical twist. Check out a video here. The initial release will include over 40 levels and both local and online multiplayer support. 20 additional levels will be available at a later date.
- Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom will be the first mahjong game available for PlayStation Network, featuring a "storybook adventure," with hand-drawn illustrations. In addition to the two gameplay modes, a level editor and level packs are also planned for post-launch release.
- Cuboid is a 3D puzzle game where players navigate ancient ruins, maneuvering a cube through a hole-filled grid. The initial release of Cuboid will include 66 twisted levels to engage players, with premium packs available later to include more levels and a custom level creator.

It most definitely is Cuboid. I remember playing (and beating) this flash game back in the day. It was great, addictive, and FREE! If they charge us for this re-hashed version, heads will roll.

Devin @ Nov 19th 2008 4:35PM
Um, my mom plays Mahjong....
jax sedrin @ Nov 19th 2008 4:41PM
Yeah, these are just glorified flash games. Where are all the cool indie games? PixelJunk Eden and Echochrome were a good start, but I want more...

Hashbrown Hunter @ Nov 19th 2008 4:48PM

Nothing Creat-ive.
(Pats on pack for being creative)

Depending on the pricepoint, I might pick these up. Considering I own most of the PSN games anyways.... lol.
Jerses @ Nov 19th 2008 5:22PM
If does games come in a 3-pack for $6.99 i will probably buy them... but they have to add more than just some generic cellphone games to really buy me
Organic_Shadow @ Nov 19th 2008 5:29PM
a breakout clone. we don't currently have any, so i guess it's at least warranted. if it's
Organic_Shadow @ Nov 19th 2008 5:30PM
...less than $5 i might give it a go. yay for carrots not being allowed in comments.
jazz_perry @ Nov 19th 2008 5:33PM

DrunkRaba @ Nov 19th 2008 11:33PM

Mahjong SOLITAIRE. Real Mahjong is a multi-player gambling game, and in video game form, typically has a sexy anime girl as your opponent.

YES !!!! Trophies for the game Breakout And MAhjong ! me and my mother play these games alot on the computer or NES ( Arkanoid really ) so having trophie support is great ! now me and my mother can unlock trophies ! actually the ONLY game me and my mother play is Sudoku and i would love to see that have Trophie support but i know it won't .. i wish i can see what the actual sales were for that game .. it's not alot of people's cup of tea but i for one Love Sudoku's Challenge just think.... over 1000 puzzles with trophies it would take awhile to get them .. not impossible but hard ! unless you take a screen shot of the game and then put it up on the computer and figure it out pencil wise then fill it all in on the PS3 in a hurry to beat the times ( if doing classic mode )
stargateheaven @ Nov 20th 2008 11:26AM
I thought sony were just going to have QUALITY games on PSN. Unlike XBL that just adds everything.. so alot of crap comes out.
Now they release...mahjong.. i mean, sure, alot of people play mah jong, but.. .. not enough.
Popfrogs @ Nov 20th 2008 11:28AM
I'm gonna die from irony poisoning. They're called Creat Studios which suggests they make creative games...yet they're all rehashes.
rgoff31 @ Nov 20th 2008 11:58AM
I'm a sucker for PSN games. I'll probably get all three.
