Deal: PS3 + 2 games + Blu-ray + remote = £300
Quality bundles, we're sure you agree. A great improvement on the "PS3 + 1 game for £310" bundles that we're so used to. So if you haven't taken the PS3 plunge yet, now might be the perfect time.

I was actually thinking about getting another ps3 for my other room for as there is a bigger screen & sound system for watching films etc.
So yeah, this may be the time to get it.
Dan Rabot @ Nov 20th 2008 10:33AM
That's all i can hope for too, broaden that PS3 user base!!!
DemonGSides @ Nov 20th 2008 11:35AM
its not broadening the user base if someone has two consoles under one household :P
superaktieboy @ Nov 20th 2008 2:55PM
in UK, currys is selling PS3's for only £199.99!!
rrdmxjedah @ Nov 20th 2008 9:47AM
this is worthless for us in the US, they dont ship here.
Mike @ Nov 20th 2008 9:54AM
America: offficially the centre of the universe.
Dan Rabot @ Nov 20th 2008 10:00AM
HAHAHAHA - They really do think the world revolves around them don't they?!
90% of the stuff about offers and deals on PS3F don't apply to us here in the UK, yet we don't hit up every post with - "This is rubbish I can't get it here!"
Bloody Yanks, really think this whole internet is for them don't they.
Congratulations you've further diminished the Worlds opinion of your nation.
ultimateidiot911 @ Nov 20th 2008 10:19AM
@Dan
I live in US and feel the same way. Many of the time, I have to deal with a good amount of people believing US is the center of the world. Quite annoying, and some of my friends still cringe a bit when I mention US is the fattest country in the world.
I'm not saying US is terrible (the gov't might get me?), but damn, too many people here are delusional. Then again, I'm far off from patriotic. I buy my gadgets and electronics design by Europe (Germany mostly), and Japan.
Anyway, I hope more people in UK will jump on this deal instead of favoring a broken system so much. Don't get me wrong, I would have purchase a 360 if it wasn't so flawly design.
MMLgamer @ Nov 20th 2008 10:32AM
@Dan
Yeah, well. It's a good thing the success of the US doesn't depend upon the opinions of a few British gentlemen who over-analyze a simple statement of truth.
dip @ Nov 20th 2008 11:31AM
Mike and Dan, what the hell are you talking about? The OP simply stated that the deal was worthless to *people in the US*, which it is. He never stated or seemed to insinuate anything more than that. Once again you Europeans are quick to generalize and stereotype Americans. Hate on, tools.
Mike @ Nov 20th 2008 12:49PM
@ dip:
The statement was, of course, factually correct. However, it would have also been factually correct if I posted a similar comment on a story specific to US outlets. "This is worthless to us in the UK, they don't ship there". I'd have gotten a whole lot of stick about that.
Arda82 @ Nov 20th 2008 9:53AM
What is a ps3?
Christian @ Nov 20th 2008 9:56AM
Well if God existed it would have been his gift to humanity
MMLgamer @ Nov 20th 2008 10:26AM
And if evolution existed, it would not have survived the process of natural selection.
Carlton @ Nov 21st 2008 9:56AM
@ MMLgamer
On the contrary, natural selection only gets rid of that which is unfit.
As the only theory which fits the available evidence, evolution is the only theory that could possibly survive the process of natural selection.
Checkmate Darwin.
MMLgamer @ Nov 21st 2008 12:42PM
@Carlton
I was joking. And besides, evolution has no factual evidence. It takes more faith to believe in it than it does to be a Christian.
Dave @ Nov 20th 2008 9:58AM
This has been available for a couple of days:

Arda82 @ Nov 20th 2008 10:16AM
Is a Ps3 better than commodore pc?
jason @ Nov 20th 2008 10:16AM
Hey way to jump off the deep end there, Dan.
Henry @ Nov 20th 2008 10:19AM
Aww man! I paid £300 for the console alone!!
Granted, it was last year - but still!
reakt @ Nov 20th 2008 12:03PM
Big deal - mine cost me £425 on launch day.
Brzoza @ Nov 20th 2008 10:23AM
OMG! I bought my ps3 2 months ago for 300 pounds and there was only one game with it :). Agrrrr :P
Dan Rabot @ Nov 20th 2008 10:32AM
Well you hear it so often, in all walks of life. I work for an American company so I'm particularly subjected to American Arrogance, I find it funny.
I do enjoy a good dive off the deep end though. ; )
Sam @ Nov 20th 2008 10:47AM
Bargain! If I were to buy a new one, or a second one (ha if I had the money!) that's a pretty good deal. It's not as good as a price cut, but you can't do much if Sony doesn't help the retailers out.
It's good to see some deals for us UKers. It's a pitty that all the competitions are also all for US/Canada residents only on all the Weblogs Inc blogs :(

Kruegmeister @ Nov 20th 2008 10:50AM
Just saying...
Dan you are calling us Americans Arrogant.
Yet... Your Comments seem the most Arrogant here...
Funny.
Can't we just all get along?
dip @ Nov 20th 2008 11:49AM
Ah, the irony and hypocrisy are almost palpable aren't they?
1664 @ Nov 20th 2008 1:33PM
I got my ps3 in may or june from uk for £279 with 2 games, joypad and dvd, and oddly enuff it was from a catolouge too, the type where u pay weekly and usually they are well overpriced
leonus11 @ Nov 20th 2008 3:36PM
@ MMLgamer
i second your comment.
bigredend @ Nov 20th 2008 6:14PM
in UK, currys is selling PS3's for only £199.99!!
Where ? I can see no mention of this on their website !
Oscar Satchell-Baeza @ Nov 25th 2008 11:39AM
Thankyou PS3 Fanboy!
I just ordered my PS3 bundle from Play.com, and I am very happy.
Fellow readers, did I make the right choice? Do you like your PS3's? Whats so good about them? And will there be other better bundle this Christmas in the Uk?
Sam @ Nov 21st 2008 7:53PM
Yes the PS3 is an awesome machine not only for the games but it's multimedia capabilities. So yes you've made the right choice. The only drawback has to be the relatively expensive games.
No you're unlikely to find a better deal in the UK this Christmas, so don't worry.
