Watch the first footage of The Punisher PSN game

Back in September, The Punisher: No Mercy was announced for PSN. Yes, this first person shooter will exclusively hit the PlayStation Network as a downloadable title. Not too much is known about the game -- but GameTrailers has debuted the first ever footage of the game in action, which you can check out after the break.

Looks awesome! I don't like FPS but I'm sure this will be popular among those who do like them...

graphically it looks nice and its a psn title. when watching it I just saw it as basic "doom" shooter, here's to hoping there is no cover system and fade to black/shield life system. health packs FTW.

Anyone else remember the last Punisher game that was on the PS2? It had some awesome finishing moves in it. For a PSN game this looks extremely playable and fun. Day 1 purchase for me on PSN.

Well, not anything, you must be joking. Look there's a reason crysis can't run on even high end pc's and there's a reason this is a psn shooter, quality. Now if you want to see the best looking console shooter look no further than killzone 2, but comparing this piece of trash, and yes, it is gonna be trash, to crysis graphically is just dumb.

If you ever visited a Crysis community, you would know that the engine is really not optimized very well which is the reason why high-end PCs can't run it on full graphics. Some modders have managed to make the game look even better using much less resources.

Oh man I have high hopes for this game. Give me a game that doesn't need ranks or badges or awards to be fun; give me a game that is fun because it controls well, give me a game that has a hardcore competitive scene, give me a classic Doom-esque shooter. Chyeah, this could be totally awesome.

Since its just a PSN title I'm fine with it being a generic doom esuqe FPS. As long stuff blows up good and its priced right, then I'm down.

btw, priced right is most likely around the 20 buck mark.....anymore up from that point and then it will cause me to start questioning the purchase.
