Christmas song pack coming to SingStar

SCEE is bringing some holiday cheer to Singstar in the form of a song pack. Officially named the Festive Fun SongPack, this five-song selection will debut on November 27th. This information came from ThreeSpeech, so this announcement applies only to Europeans, at least for the time being. No pricing info was announced, but we are guessing it will be £4.49, just like the Queen song packs.

"Christmas Eve" -- Celine Dion
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" -- Toni Braxton
"Sleight Ride" -- Babyface
"Wonderful Christmastime" -- Paul McCartney
"Merry Christmas Everyone" -- Shakin' Stevens

Awww, this sounds just perfect for the holiday season -- your whole family gathered around the television, SingStar will be running on the PS3 and your tone-deaf aunt will be singing those five Christmas tunes over and over and over again. On second thought ...

Wonderful Christmastime is a great addition to the Singstore lineup. I am very excited about that. I really hope the US store gets this.

This information is useless to me if I can't buy the songs and play them in my U.S. Singstar.
Those are pretty crap Christmas songs. I'd rather have more traditional songs like Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole.

Oh, stop kidding yourself. It will never leave Europe, all right? By now you'd think that SCE completely forgot that they have a SingStore in America too. The American SingStore is so horribly maintained. Some artists that I was promised to have at launch still haven't shown up. This is ridiculous and I've pretty much just done my video game singing in Rock Band lately because it's not worth my time to keep checking the SingStore for almost nothing to show up.
