Get ready for Black Friday deals [Update]
The good folks at Cheap Ass Gamer have crafted a list of all video game-related Black Friday deals. For those not in the know, Black Friday is the term used for post-Thanksgiving sales. These are usually when retailers make their best prices available, as they all compete for early Christmas shopping attention. We've scrubbed the list to show only PS3 deals, but make sure you check out CAG for the full list, especially if you own more than just a PS3. [Update: Image of Best Buy bundle, courtesy Adrien. Expanded list after the break.]

The Radio Shack DS3 is a great deal for $29, but I wonder if Amazon will beat that this year for $19, since they offered the Sixaxis last year for that same price.
Waiting to see . . .
defpoet1790 @ Nov 14th 2008 2:07PM
i'm not seeing anything too special. already played dead space and that seems like the best deal on this list.
tdrules @ Nov 14th 2008 2:13PM
BAD choice of picture
Pumapayam @ Nov 14th 2008 2:17PM
Why is that photo a bad choice?
Mr. Joe @ Nov 14th 2008 2:20PM
is it the wolfman hand on the right?!
metalcharms @ Nov 14th 2008 2:21PM
Because that's a Circuit City.
Which is going bankrupt..
And won't have good deals.
John S @ Nov 14th 2008 2:24PM
haha @ Mr. Joe. Seriously, WTF is that??
heypaul @ Nov 14th 2008 2:47PM
He means the black guy. If you don't know what Black Friday is (as many of our international readers apparently don't, since Andrew felt the need to explain), you automatically make the association with the black guy standing dead center in the picture. Nothing really offensive about it, it just kind of sticks out as too interesting of a coincidence.
Pumapayam @ Nov 14th 2008 3:22PM
Because of the black guy/black friday.
*rolls eyes*
Grow up people.
Lavat @ Nov 14th 2008 2:12PM
I might need a new DS3 controller....Although I can imagine what idiot had to depress the L2 and R2 buttons...A very dum idea...In fact thanks those depressed buttons it is also effecting the odd sensitivity on it...
It was so much better with old Ps2 controllers.
JohnHype @ Nov 14th 2008 3:35PM
Get the Gioteck Triggers to fix this problem. The armor is junk, but the triggers are worth it:
Playstation 3 Hardwear Controller Armor
shawn @ Nov 14th 2008 3:51PM
uhhhh.. r u kidding ds3 is way frikin better than ps2 no jamming or anything now plus sixaxis
Vannoy @ Nov 14th 2008 4:11PM
Yeah it's just too bad sixaxis isn't really being used for anything less gimmicky..
Gambit07 @ Nov 14th 2008 2:15PM
Dead Space for me.
ObiBen @ Nov 14th 2008 2:30PM
same here. Dead Space will be mine
tdrules @ Nov 14th 2008 2:25PM
i meant its *black* friday and...
damn you and your lack of casual racism!
Eric E @ Nov 14th 2008 2:26PM
i might get deadspace, but the PS3 deal is door buster only i heard.
Do you want last years game and blu ray or $100 gift card. hmm.
tyboogie @ Nov 14th 2008 2:34PM
Well seeing as how I just bought dead space on craigslist for $30, i'm tempted to buy the dual shock at radio shack and burnout paradise at target for $20. The burnout paradise is one hell of a deal btw, especially considering all the free dlc they gave away over the past year.
4thcage @ Nov 14th 2008 2:38PM
Is that all for this year? These deals kinda suck... IMHO!
jarhead906 @ Nov 16th 2008 5:06PM
I have never been Black Friday-ing but I'm going this year with my friends.
The only thing I want right now is a reduced-in-price Sony Official Bluetooth Headset because that thing is wicked awesome. Perhaps a 250/320 GB hard drive off of Amazon for my PS3 since they're only 75-120 dollars as of now.
panther717 @ Nov 14th 2008 3:26PM
I wonder if the PSN will have any Black Friday deals this year...anyone remember if they did last year?
4thcage @ Nov 14th 2008 3:40PM
I think they had sale on some of the downloadable game , like flOw, everyday shooter for $5.00 each if im not mistaken. I hope they have prince of persia go on sale this time...
kentuckyfried @ Nov 14th 2008 4:11PM
I'm all over the $30 dualshock and BIAHH for $20.
Dualshocks always take a severe beating with any iteration of COD.
Jeff @ Nov 14th 2008 4:52PM
Oh fock yeah, I was looking for an excuse to buy Dead Space
Popfrogs @ Nov 14th 2008 4:56PM
You won't regret it. It's one of the best 100% EA games in years.
lorddshadow2 @ Nov 15th 2008 8:42PM
cod:waw for $50 seems good. lucky my birthday's on black friday!
gillyy0 @ Nov 14th 2008 6:38PM
Dualshock 3 + Dead Space are now definitely mine.
nakedatthecomp @ Nov 14th 2008 7:00PM
I see what you did there!
gamepad @ Nov 14th 2008 7:10PM
Dead Space seems worth it and since no one in my town shops at radio shack that DS3 is mine.
Jawon @ Nov 15th 2008 11:19AM
OMFG!!!!!! Dual Shock 3 for $30?! What a DEAL!! Dead Space for $30 is such a tempting price, but my friends are encouraging me to get COD WAW... Is COD WAW a much better game compared to COD 4?
desiladka @ Nov 24th 2008 4:42PM
No, actually it isn't. I have friends that used to game on cod4 everyday, and didnt really pay attention to game news. they were really excited for cod WAW... but even they stopped playing it. IMO if you have cod 4 already, dont buy the fifth. Unless you really like WWII games.
EDW @ Nov 15th 2008 12:24AM
i wonder if that GHWT deal is with or without the guitar. if it is, i might have to try it.
tony @ Nov 16th 2008 10:51PM
by the way anyone who thinks that pic is of a circuit city is a moron. its a target store for sure bc cc doesnt sell food and if you notice the top left thats groceries. duhhh
DMeisterJ @ Nov 24th 2008 11:35AM
Burnout Paradise for 20 bucks? Will do!
aaron @ Nov 24th 2008 12:39PM
is this also available in Canada?
E @ Nov 24th 2008 12:56PM
It's not Black Friday yet but yesterday, a Target in town had Army of Two for $19.99; Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for $19.99; Golden Axe: Beast Rider for $29.99; Uncharted for $19.99; and some others I can't remember. I picked up Pure for $14.99 (!!??! It's still $54.99 USED at GameStop!!) and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for $29.99. Pretty good deals I'd say. And they had the games "hiding": they weren't in the game section but off to the site in the car accessories department. Sneaky...
HardBoiled2009 @ Nov 24th 2008 1:21PM
@ aaron
I doubt it. United States always got these kinda deals. actually seen Rainbow Six for a cheap price yesterday but i tired Rainbox Six on the 360 and didn't care for it but i only played the demo for like ... 5 mins or less .. i dunno looks nice but didn't care for it. anyways like i said we hardly ever get these kinda deals in Canada. it's probably all down the States even if some of the stores mention are up here in canada... still won't get those deals.
If someone can clearify that i'm wrong then Great that's good but .. i just highly doubt it
george sears @ Nov 24th 2008 2:17PM
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is going to be $19.99 at Circuit City on Black Friday (saw the ad at the morning meeting this sunday....shhhhh)
tmontana213 @ Nov 24th 2008 2:38PM
Gonna buy Dead Space and Burnout!
desiladka @ Nov 24th 2008 4:42PM
You won't regret buying burnout. That game has so much dlc, i'm amazed i got it at 40 bucks. It's ridiculous how much free they gave out. I'll probably buy their dlc next year just to support em.
aaronx_x @ Nov 24th 2008 7:36PM
i see no black guy.. o.@
kentuckyfried @ Nov 25th 2008 12:01AM
Thanks for keeping all the Black Friday deals tabbed in one spot. Looking forward to BIAHH for $20!
My friend actually wants me to grab RV62 on the 360 (already have it on the ps3) so we can play the terrorist hunt mode, which is apparently alot of fun. I haven't even played the first one yet.
