Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon will come to Europe

Looks like you guys over on the Old Continent will get a chance to destroy some humans on the PS3 afterall. A THQ UK representative told Eurogamer that Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon will still be arriving on Europe as scheduled on February 13th of next year. "Due to the game being shipped earlier in North America on 2nd December a decision was made to proceed exclusively with the Xbox 360 format in that market." Americans looking to join Cryptosporidium on his murderous adventures will just have to import.

Due to tech issues they can't meet the deadline for the simultaneous release... so they don't release it at all?!

Well then, I can safely say that despite me being a U.K resident I WON'T be picking this up, not only because the previous installments sucked but also because THQ suck.

Are you serious? I've heard 9/11 conspiracies that I'm more inclined to believe. The PS3 version had been delayed for a while, you couldn't even get a release date on it. Nobody would pay for exclusivity on this garbage. THQ will be lucky to move 100k units on this crap at whatever price they're charging for it ($5 is too much IMHO).

They have a problem with development and since the american version comes out earlier, the game isnt ready for American audiences yet...the UK release doesnt come out until Febuary! And yet you still say "THQ SUCK FOR DELAYING A GAME THAT WASNT READY!!"

So rather than make *any* kind of money on the PS3 version selling it in the US, they would rather just not release it? Something doesn't smell right. I have no clue on Earth what it could be but why not just release it in the US as well as UK on the same day? Who cares it's not releasing in the US on it's scheduled day? It's not like the AAA blockbuster title this season.
Ah well, thanks to the region free PS3, we can just import it.

I remember playing the first game on the ps2, and I loved it. I never bought the second game, but now seeing videos from the third game I have to check this out. Destroy all humans is a fun game, just because it's not going to be on american ps3's doesn't mean it "sucks." Stop being such blind fanboys...

Apparently, in addition to making crappy games, THQ failed business school. You've already invested in making a game for the PS3 architecture, why would you not release it in the North American market? Limiting yourself to just Europe is silly.
I guess the only reason they wouldn't want to release it late in North America is if they're predicting the game is going to tank and that there will be no demand for it whatsoever (even on a different platform) come February. Interesting.

So the game isn't canceled, but because THQ are dumbasses they'll forgo the US market? What now? If they're actually finishing the game why in hell are they not releasing it in the US? Stupidity. What is it? Are they being paid by MS? I mean, if the game is getting a release in Europe, why not the US? Thank goodness PS3s are region free, it should allow some in the US to get the game if they want it. But it's still just plain stupid.
THQ, you're fools, even more so if you're allowing Microsoft's pocketbook to determine your strategy.

This makes me wish I lived in the UK. This is actually one of my favorite game series and I was pretty annoyed there a few days back when I saw the news that the PS3 release of the game was canned. This was going to be one of the gifts I was hoping my wife was going to get me.
I loved the first one, the second was just as fun, I was a tad disappointed with the Wii installation, and I still plan on getting this one, one way or another.

As for development issues, that's F#@king bullshit.
THQ are just being lazy, just like Valve (who are the shittest developer in the world ) it looks THQ are coming a close second.
