Qore Episode 7 is free

For those that you haven't jumped into PS3's video magazine, Qore, you'll have your chance this week. Episode 7 will be available on the PlayStation Store this Thursday -- and best of all, it'll be free. This month's issue will focus on Skate 2 (read our preview here) and Flock. A Killzone 2 theme will also be included with the issue.

We're wondering if subscribers will get an extra issue appended to their purchase, considering this issue is free for all. If not, annual subscribers can at least celebrate their exclusive access to a Flock demo.

If it says Qore on the title, the official PlayStation web site, and the PlayStation Store, then it's Qore, not Quore.

Dude... for crying out loud it's 1-2 dollars a month if you subscribe, 3 dollars a month if you just get 1 episode. You pay more than that to rent or buy a movie. It's a lot of content in HD. I mean at most you spend enough money to buy a tank of gas... boohooo. What would they have to do in order to be worth your magic 2 dollars?

You either like your PS3 and want to support the network, or you don't like your PS3 and should go to Xbox where you can pay 50 dollars a year for stuff they've had since launch. No one is forcing you to buy it. You either support a company or not. I chose to support the company I like.

So just shut up dude cause idiots like you are in vast supply and I'm tired of hearing the same shit every freaking day I read a post on Qore. Say something unique for once.

Not buying Qore doesn't mean I'm automatically an Xbox fanboy. It just means I'd rather rent a TV show or buy a PSN game or get a Rock Band song.

I seem to recall spending over $300 in The store.......but I dont support Sony because I wont buy a digital magazine?!?!?! a magazine that says it will get you into betas and exclusive shit but didnt tell u that u would get into betas like 5 days b4 they are over and getting people into HOME 3 weeks b4 it goes public is a REAL good example....

but yea....say wut ya want dude.......HD content or not......right now its just not worth it......money has nothing to do with it....thats like saying "I'm gonna pay $40 a year for a magazine and never read the bitch......."

and as for renting movies.......I have the 4 movie at a time netflix plan......and rent over30 movies a month......the way I see it I pay less than a dollar 2 rent a movie.....

I doubt that; they had a survey, prior to their announced Home invite episode, asking multiple questions regarding Qore, one of which was if they would like for Qore to be free but minus any exclusive demos and betas unless you subscribe. So they're probably testing out this option.

Ugh. I'm one of the (probably few) who purchased a Qore subscription thinking I'd actually get some "cool stuff" for my $20.

$20 = nothing special + ads on everything.

Sony.... are you TRYING to let Microsoft dismantle you this generation? I want to believe, but everything you do shakes my confidence a little more.

Only Killzone 2 can save you now... :)

"only can save you now, sony"... hahaha, I hear this once every couple days it seems... fortunately just because this whiney kid is pissed doesn't mean sony is screwing you over...often people download qore, look around for two minutes, maybe pick up the included beta or demo (as this is probably why they were interested in downloading the episode to begin with, if they know what qore is all about), and delete the episode.. how the fuck are the subscribers getting screwed, they get an exclusive demo or beta every other month.. wow, now people who don't subscribe can download the 1000mb file for an included theme and they can watch advertisments, what a rip-off to you subscribers...

The worst $25 I have spent in gaming is Qore. I have given every issue a quick look but there is NO content in them. One of the reason I bought it in the first place was SOCOM beta and I ended up getting it through a website anyway. Needless to say I will not be resubscribing!

I paid for Qore once and that was for the ep that had the early access Naruto: UNS demo. Then I didn't think Qore was too bad. It gave me early access to the demo and had some cool into about R2, SH:HC and of course Naruto.

My attitude was one of "wait and see". If following eps where of or better quality then I would spring for a Qore sub. Well, then the fiasco with the socom beta, then the MS:PR demo...then the R2 beta and now HOME. Needless to say I have decided to not sub to Qore and will only pay per episode and that is if its REALLY worth it.

I have a hard time believing their "Qore will get you into X beat" hype, especially since I got into some of the most wanted betas but other means.

Socom and R2 - Preorder
LBP - Emailed PS blog quickly when they had extra keys
KZ2 - Out of the blue invite.

So all the perks of Qore I have gotten with out the 2.99 charge that in the end, would not bare fruit.

Agreed, I dont see how anyone can honestly say qore was a sucess. I will be downloading the free issue, but only because if feel that is how sony should have approached it. I dont mind being charged , its the promises that were made for having some kind of exclusivity for subscribing. I managed to jump into all the betas with a pre order or sign up through game websites. Perhaps if sony bundled the 2009 subscription with a psn game worth something like Rag doll kung fu or fat princess, instead of games like calling all cars. That would probably entice me.

Why should I pay for this "Qore" staff, it nothing to be said than just an advertisment or reveiw of the game.

With the same thing I rather go to ign.com where you can get everything for free such as video review.

I do recall reading that for the annual subscription you will get 13 episodes of QORE. Maybe this is the extra one that was previously mentioned. Just my 2 cents.

Heh Qore is like getting an annual sub of Maxim magazine so meh I don't really care. I got money for it even though people say is not worth it I like it, I got the annual subscription and I think Qore is fun. I also don't mind paying annual subscription for the xbox 360 too to play online even though i can play on my pc the 3rd party games. It just depends on people's interest. Buy it or not that's it, just stop whining. It's like everyone is going on strike in here XD lol
