Here's a look at the Trophies for the hotly anticipated PS3-exclusive shooter. As you can see, most are for the single-player campaign -- but the multiplayer ones are worth a lot of XP, and will take quite a bit of time to get! Good luck.

For sure. With all of what I've been hearing, Killzone 2 seems to be a day one buy for me. I can't wait. AAA shooter coming. Trophy's look great. I'm really excited!

I hate online medals, i can never get Platinum cause i don't play online, I try it for an hour. Hate it, give up, Maybe i would push through if they didn't require months of commitment to achieve
or if maybe majority of online players weren't complete jack offs/incompetents.

I'm really liking the online portion. I'm not much of an online gamer, but KZ2 has changed me. The gameplay is really balanced and even. Currently ranked as a Lieutenant, it's only taken me a hand full of hours to get there. Half the fun is earning the ribbons and badges online to open new classes and weapons.

I'll give it a try as usual, but the only thing that ever grabbed me was TF2. Even then i had to deal w/ horrible teamates who dont understand spies or what a base is. Im glad the game doesn't let you shoot your own foot because i believe it would happen.

The online honours mean you need to be in the top 1% of all KZ2 players (even if inactive during that week). First two times you manage it, you get bronze trophies. Then a silver, then a gold.

If the game sells 3 million copies, you need to be in the top 30,000 for a week. That's not too hard, especially if it's regional.

It says to "Collect all Killzone 2 trophies" but you can not accomplish this without first getting the platinum trophy. To get this trophy you must have this trophy. :)

its correct because if you collect all the trophies platinum will be the last one and automatically be won when you get all the other trophies.

By getting all the other trophies, you get the platinum, which gets you all the trophies, which awards you the platinum.

Did that make any sense?

Yes your comment makes sense but my point was to unlock the platinum trophy you must have all trophies including the platinum trophy. So it is imposible and my PS3 just exploded trying to figure it out :)

Why is there a gold trophy for number 4, while number 1 is a bronze trophy? In the US is the system the other way round? In the UK being number 1 is better than being 4th....

I got confussed too, but i think it means you have to get on the ranking four times, not be number four, for the gold trophy. And the Bronze trophy you get for your first time being on there.

i'll probably never get a platinum trophy for this. i never get good enough to sustain wins online. i have my hot streaks, but someone better than me or someone gets lucky and i'm the first loser. i usually end up somewhere in the middle

Can't stop thinking about K1 (which I didn't like and I tried to like) whenever I see this game but, I guess I'll give this a try.
Does anyone know if this game has co-op or of any plans to get co-op in it, because if it does then it's a definite buy for me.

I don't understand why people are saying "Well, I can't get that Platinum now, because of the online!"

I mean, isn't the whole point of gaming is replay the game over and over, to have it there and play for hours. I'm not good at FPS shooters, atleast not as good as some people are online, but I'll still man up and try to get the trophies atleast. The only game I give up, in terms of getting online trophies was WarHawk, but that game is way too hard to get the trophies. You gotta play for months on end. I doubt Killzone will be like that.

I like online trophies that take a while i just need the 10000 kills to get the R2 plat trophy and at 3500 kills that gonna take me till jan. only a month after till killzone2 comes out

Got hands on with this last night at the Leicester Square event (http://gadgetsgamesandstuff.blogspot.com/2008/12/killzone-2-takes-over-vue-leicester.html) and I have to say I was really impressed. This is definitely a pre-order for me. I thought Resistance 2 was good, but this is going to blow it out of the water. Roll on February! I truly can't wait.
