Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of December 7th

Sonic Unleashed. That's it. Though, if you're in Europe you won't even be getting your hands on that until next week. Otherwise, Asia catches up with the rest of the world with Mirror's Edge. Hear that? That's the sound of your wallet breathing a sigh of relief. The end of year barrage of titles is over. Here's the list in handy bullet point form:

US Games

Sonic Unleashed

EU Games

No new releases

Asian Games

Mirror's Edge
Wall-E

Release dates are constantly subject to change. Your PS3 will play import titles, so if you're a Euro Sonic fan go ahead and import it if you like. Keep in mind, though, that if there's any DLC in the future, you will have to grab it from the American PSN Store.

Most of the people speaking so harshly of it have probably never even played the game. It's a more than decent platformer.

In all honesty, there are the much cheaper Sega collections. I have been playing through Sonic 1 & 2 on my PSP for years.

Yes!!! Ive been waiting for Sonic Unleashed for months. This is going to be amazing, utterly amazing. Hopefully it will be even better than Sonic and the Secret Rings was. The videos for Unleashed are just awe inspiring!

I've been moaning about all the games I've "had to" buy the last few weeks but now i'm quite gutted that there's nothing new that i want.

One downside of getting all good games as they're released is that there's never anything to buy "on the off chance".

Lame, I want a new game.

Can't wait till Feb for Killzone!

Back to COD, LBP and Endwar it is then....
