Video shows Zack Snyder's in-Home Watchmen intro
While this Watchmen content was revealed in the SCEE Home open beta press release, it hasn't been mentioned even in passing by those on the other side of the pond. Clearly this, along with the upcoming Doomsday Clocks and statues for your apartment, not to mention the cast and filmmaker Q&A, will be only available for European Homers. Don't forget to check out our media day report for more info on upcoming Home content.

I'm pretty sure the director's name is Zack not Jack.
darthnite1 @ Dec 10th 2008 4:34PM
Isn't it Zack Snyder?
Syn @ Dec 10th 2008 4:41PM
Why is this Europe only? And why do they have a better Theater than the US? What is with that...
devilmaker @ Dec 10th 2008 5:13PM
Home is made by SCEE, maybe it was easier for them to get licencing (I know its spelt wrong) for Europe rather than the US.
Emophia @ Dec 11th 2008 5:54AM
I've used both and I prefer the US theatre actually, you can't interact and walk around while the movie is playing in the UK one while you can in the US one.
Surfaced @ Dec 10th 2008 4:45PM
Z, not J.
And is it only the Europeans that get such an awesome theater? Or will the full thing be revealed to us come tomorrow?

WE ALL KNOW NOW HOME OPEN BETA IS OUT TO EVERYONE TOMMOROW, but what are the times? i did some research and now know it releases early evening, (this could be just after midday i guess) but is this just for US? or will EU be out the same time??????
Barry32171 @ Dec 10th 2008 4:55PM
I'm with you all... WTH? Shutting out North America, for the time being, doesn't make much sense. Is there, possibly, something in the trailer that the ratings people here don't like?
Phear @ Dec 10th 2008 5:01PM
When is all of this coming to planet America?
Albanian_Killa @ Dec 10th 2008 5:01PM
Wow, looking at this, I realize how shit the North American Home Theater is. They better make it like the European one. I'd love to see some 1UP podcasts/IGN Podcasts/What have you. Noticed the little Eurogamer TV there.
Familyguyrokz @ Dec 10th 2008 5:16PM
I must not be a true fanboy, because Home doesn't interest me in the least. I don't care about Playstation Second Life, I just want to play games, and the enormous amount of press about this is really kinda sickening.
benny boy @ Dec 10th 2008 5:37PM
I've read this same comment on every single Home article I've read and it's getting kinda boring now. Stop complaining when you haven't even tried it out yet.
It's getting this amount of press because nearly everyone else is interested in it.
Don't complain just for the sake of it.
Gaucho @ Dec 10th 2008 5:20PM
WOW! since I heard they were coming out with the movie I've reread the comics 7 times. I'm amp'ed as s#%@ for this movie. And now super psyched about this thing tomorrow!
CHICHO13_420 @ Dec 10th 2008 7:55PM
America theater is boring boring boring. So was this just to rub it in our faces about the Eu home server , cause seriously it's getting old already. Yawwwwwnnnnnnnnn
Ed @ Dec 10th 2008 8:46PM
What is the name of this song?
Roto13 @ Dec 10th 2008 9:02PM
That's The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning by the Smashing Pumpkins. It's in the first Watchmen trailer and it was also on the Batman & Robin soundtrack.
I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing or a non-thing.
Chris Are @ Dec 10th 2008 11:00PM
Haha, well to be fair the version in the Batman movie wasn't the same- this is a lot more drawn out and dark. I hated the original version, but I get this song stuck in my head very easily.
Roto13 @ Dec 10th 2008 11:35PM
Actually, I got that very same version of the song from a download of the Batman and Robin soundtrack. :P You're probably thinking of The End Is The Beginning Is The End which is also in there.
Roto13 @ Dec 10th 2008 9:04PM
You know, I can't help but think Home is going to get a lot bigger as time goes on. :P People complaining about there not being enough stuff don't really make a lot of sense to me. Of course there's not much stuff. It's still being tested. You don't test a new medication by prescribing it to everyone in the world in large amounts.
