Wow, another ad for PSP? Did Sony spend money by accident? In Canada, of all places? This is a rather interesting ad for the PSP, but watch out for the music. It's pretty catchy, but we can see why it could bug a few people. Check out the ad after the break. It highlights all of Canada's landmarks. Wait, Canada has landmarks? We kid, of course.
Canada has lots of landmarks. There's a big mall. And the world's biggest empty field. And moose. I think there's a big ice field that's pretty popular with the tourists.
And wow. That is the worst song I think I've ever heard. Why in the hell would you call that "catchy"?
There's tons of company's that advertise specifically in Canada. Hell Ford had an ad campaign towards specific provinces. Poor Keifer had to learn the word Saskatchewan.
Wow, for a Canadian I'm pretty clueless. I've seen that commercial numerous times but didn't really read what was flying on screen. Come to think of it, that PSP looks like it's bobsleding (or maybe luge).
**offtopic** I know that you don't include Quebec when it comes to giving free stuff since there are different laws and more fees to pay but you will eventually include us, right?
Its called the "Quebec are the stupidest people in North America Clause"
It assumes that any Quebecer is stupid enough to do ANYTHING necessary to get ANYTHING for free. This includes paying $40000 for an automobile to get a free Happy Meal.
That's your PQ at work! (Or at least was, while Bouchard was premier)
haha, its more about the healthcare. I was born in America so I shouldn't be talking but I moved up here cause of the poor health downthere :/ Im serious folks .

I hope you're just joking, and that you are aware that Kiefer's grandfather was the Premier of Saskatchewan (and the father of Canadian medicare)
I think he knows the word.
Kinsey @ Dec 11th 2008 10:18PM
Yes I'm joking.
I'm not even sure Ford even made Saskatchewan Commercials, but the word Saskatchewan in itself seems to make Americans laugh.
Don @ Dec 12th 2008 3:40AM
In BC we used to have Lindsey Wagner do the Ford commercials... ****Bionic Woman roolz!!!!***
Gurbinder @ Dec 12th 2008 7:09AM

Love the song. Sleepyhead - by Passion Pits.
And don't forget that big pointy free-standing tower we have which is definitely not the tallest thing in the world anymore. I love my Canada.

"Did Sony spend money by accident?"
Isn't it sad that the current state of PSP advertising has become a joke? Sad, but true.
The Theivious Racoonus @ Dec 11th 2008 8:54PM
Wow. I love you, Sony.
And Dundas Square is like 2 seconds away from my university. Awesome!
What's not awesome is the lack of psp games.
Hope they fix that soon or I might have finish Portable Ops a third time.
MBO @ Dec 11th 2008 8:59PM

Andrew Yoon @ Dec 12th 2008 9:21AM
Nope. Probably will never happen. Quebec has very specific laws that make it difficult for us to give away things there. Sorry.
Gurbinder @ Dec 12th 2008 7:11AM
what about Nunavut o_o

I'm a Canadian too.
It's just that I live in Alberta, which as we all know is the stupid province. The rest of Canada is nice, just not where I live.
