If you're based in Europe then chances are you'll be asleep for the show, but Gametrailers will have all the trailers up for you to see when you wake up in the morning. 2008 hasn't ended yet and already the hype for some of 2009's biggest games has begun in earnest. We love it.

I will not be watching Spike for their (who spent the most money to "earn" these) awards. I do however rely on PS3Fanboy to keep me updated! I expect you guys to post the videos here and have a in depth analysis to go along with it. Don't let me down!

I pretty much agree.
Spike's categories are SOOOOooo uninspired.
Wheres the "best original design" or "most creative game"...
instead we get "best actress/actor in a video game"

Gaming blog takes like 10 minutes and is a great study break. It's a hotkey away, and I don't even have to leave the coffee shop.
Spike VG Awards are some untold number of hours. Very different time commitment we're talking about here.

The show starts in 4 hours. So it will be 2:00 am in London when it starts.

Well EST +5 = GMT.
So in UK the show is at 2 am.

In France, the show will be at 3am. But I don't think the most interesting games will be showed at the beginning of the show...

Well, I'm european, I'm wake, and I don't see any trailers. Still, thanks you tube, I saw the trailers for U2 and GoW3. GoW3 seems spectacular, U2 ... not much spoiled, no gameplay seen ...

I hope I'm not spoiling it for anyone waiting for PS3F coverage (if there is?), but anyway:
I actually wished there was more CG non-gameplay-type scenes. I wanted to peer and gaze into the insanely high-def eyes of Kratos, and be frozen solid in awe like I was hit by Medusa's gaze. Instead, there's some cool stuff, some very neat details, but mostly a very non-polished washed out feel to it. Kratos's voice is as cool as always though. Oh and Drakes was definitely amazing.
