Here, have some Uncharted 2 screenshots and concept pics

We know exactly how you're feeling. You saw the Uncharted 2 trailer (probably multiple times) and it just left you wanting more. NeoGaf user "jiggle" has posted a whole bunch of screenshots and concept images from Nathan Drake's second outing. They show a new urban environment, with decidedly non-piratey armed guards (though, in true Uncharted fashion, they do all look the same). There's also some snowy concept art, what appears to be a new female sidekick (we're still rooting for Elena to make a return) and an ancient city in the mountains (shown above) that we can't wait to explore.
We're not sure what the source of these images is, but we'll be sure to update you should we learn of their origin. Regardless, take a peek and get yourself even more hyped up for what is quickly becoming our most anticipated game for 2009.

I'm guessing the game is set in the himalayas and India. From the screenshots the urban areas where definately in India, probably Kolkata, but not sure cause they don't really have the feel of india down. It's cool they are setting the game in India. It makes me happy inside.

The Truck in the concept art says Tata which is found only in India/Nepal

I just stole got my issue of gameinformer from work and I gotta say, I'm really psyched for U2. I like that enemies with less armor on will die in fewer shots this time around. Uncharted enemies had superhuman thick skin. glad they fixed that.

2008 was a great year for the PS3.
There is no doubt the PS3 has caught up to (and arguably past) the 360 in content and online features.
2009 needs to be the year Sony drops the hammer on graphical superiority and K2, U2, & GoW3 should do this. Coupled with a price drop, Sony should sell few more consoles than they did in 08.

And I thought Drake and Sully were treasure hunting pals from back in the day. I got the impression from the last game that they went on these hunts together. I guess he retired after El Dorado?

Got my copy of Game Informer over the weekend and read the article. I'm almost positive all (or nearly all) of those images are from there. It was a lengthy article with lots of images.
Seriously cannot wait for this game. Have been enjoying Uncharted since the moment I bought it a few weeks ago (new PS3 owner).

Naughty Dog by far is the #1 Dev in knowing the PS3 platform right now.. I thought that Insomniac was pumping out the most power out the PS3 but Naughty has taken that spot. This game looks fucking ridiculous..This game send Gears of War to bed with no supper.. Hands down.. Cause there's looking pretty and then theres looking real and this games textures look fucking real.

does anyone noticed its the old nate without shaving and a belt pack? its doesnt look like the one in the tease trailer. I just hope this pics are just tecnical screenshots or something. I love uncharted but i just got hyper hype about the teaser been in real time that if dont see those graphics when its released i will be mad... and still buy the game because the first one is awsome.
I just need to know this game will be released in the 2009. I will hate to wait 2 years for it.

They look like technical stuff to me. If you look closely at the enemies, they all appear to be the same character.

Those ss's are pretty impressive.
But I hope the game actually plays as good as these shots look. With the exception of GT5:P, most all of the good looking shots like these suffer from FPS inconsistency and/or nasty jaggies in the actual game.
