Friends join Old Snake in upcoming LBP costume pack

The cat's out of the bag. The Sony Hong Kong website has let slip details of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid LittleBigPlanet DLC. The content has grown substantially since we first saw Old Snake at TGS in October. He'll be joined by his buddies Meryl, Screaming Mantis and, if you buy the character pack, Raiden. Not only that but a ~~level~~ construction pack will also be made available. We have a feeling it'll include something quite surprising ...

There's no telling when these will be made available, or for how much, but we assume they'll be with us quite soon if they're already being listed on the Sony HK site. Would make a nice Christmas present during next week's Xmas Eve PSN Store update.

Expect it all to be overpriced, everything else they charge for is.
Why are they still doing this?
Why is the first level content pack released based on another video game?
Didn't they take down a bunch of levels because they were based on other games?

I might've actually bought a construction pack (it could be more useful than the costumes) if we were allowed to share levels made with it.

Gonzo: Considering the fact that you think this is the first LBP level pack, I guess that means you haven't heard about the Christmas level pack, priced at $2.99. That's not overpriced, considering all of the stuff that comes with it.

Gonzo probably doesn't own the game - the way he's talking it's like Mm are happy with and will keep the current moderation system. I mean sh!t dude, we're talking about a video game - if the fans and users demand a change, we'll get it. Stop sulking about how terrible everything is and just wait for the change.

LBP game more game-related stuff than Home!

Home has areas for:
- Far Cry
- Uncharted

LBP has costumes based on:
- God of War
- Street Fighter
- Metal Gear Solid
Plus user-generated levels based on many more games.

I've been making a point of not paying for any of these overpriced costumes, especially the $1.99 ones. It's just way too much for a simple costume that doesn't even do anything, the Pain characters have animation and voices included for only .99 each. If this was just Snake for $1.99 I would try to resist. But all 4 of those characters? I think I have to bite. But I won't buy any more after that!
