Metal Gear Integral podcast resumes in January

The podcast is available exclusively within Metal Gear Solid 4. So, when January comes around, pop in the Blu-ray disc and give the Integral podcast a listen.

Heh, i have a save just before shadow moses - i remember listening to the first sat in the vents. I shall be doing the same now when i go download this one :)

Anyway to listen to it outside the game? The main reason for why I didn't bother with the first podcast is the fact that it messed up my concentration while playing the game.

If it's only available within MGS4, why would the podcast be about a MGS game on another platform? I could see it POSSIBLY be about LBP's DLC, but enough to warrant recurring 2 week updates? I wouldn't think so.
BILLS @ Dec 20th 2008 3:01PM
but then again.. that "other platform" is a part of MGS4.. iPod(apple)

Downloaded it and it seems interesting. Come January 8th, we shall find out what they're preparing for us.

It's funny that I picked it up for a replay just yesterday, then I kept thinking where are the other podcasts that we were promised?
& Here they are. :)
the Sixth Sense is more than a myth.
Looking forward to more exciting news regarding the PS3.
I put my faith in Bloggers who are up to the challenge.
Peace.

I did the same thing! How random. Glad to see that there's still DLC coming out for the game. I loved the idea of in-game podcasts, I guess the long delay has to do with Ryan Payton leaving Konami.
There are still updates I'd like to see for MGS4 *cough* trophy patch *cough*...

I'm still surprised Sony didn't insist on a Network Walkman rather than an iPod.
kentuckyfried @ Dec 19th 2008 2:29PM
B/c the iPod's already an accepted and respectable icon of our times...that's what made it kind of cool to have in the game (I just wish that you could equip the iPod and then also use something else at the same time, like be able to equip/un-equip the box and still have the iPod playing in the background). had they included the network walkmen, people would've said, "wtf is this? stupid sony in-game advertising for dead product."
Anyhow, I'm glad to see the return of an Integral podcast. I really enjoyed the first one the moment I started playing MGS4, I was hoping for more content shortly thereafter but then nothing came.

I haven't heard of any more downloadable camo or anything for months. Do they still do that?
kentuckyfried @ Dec 19th 2008 9:56PM
the funny thing is, they just did back on 12/11 (for the music, I think, not the camo; maybe I read the date wrong, could be 11/12 b/c of that wacky date formatting you see on MGO). I randomly went back there to check if anymore goodies came out and they did.
LordMetzen @ Dec 22nd 2008 1:34PM
What bothers me about the MGS4 ipod, is that Snake doesn't have to use the stupid iTunes to FIRST, create a PLAYLIST, and then upload whatever song he downloaded, or SYNC...theres your respectable and accepted icon of our times...
