Bejeweled 2 rated by ESRB

Bejeweled 2 might not be a hardcore gamer's kind of game, but it's coming our way nonetheless. The ESRB has rated the PS3 title "E" for everyone recently giving notice that a game was in the works for the system. Digging further, IGN has spoken with devs PopCap Games to which a rep had confirmed the game's existence.

For those of you who don't know about the title, it's a quick puzzler where players need to align three like-colored jewels to chain up a high score. For those of you who do know the game, thankfully you won't have to play it on your cell phone or Yahoo! ever again -- it'll be right here on your PS3. Prices and dates are as yet to be revealed, though reader DeforMAKulizer has notified us that PSN ads for Bejeweled 2 have been making the rounds. This suggests that the game might not be too far off.

wonder if any other popcap games are coming onto the PS3. cant think of any off the top of my head that i'd really really want but im sure theres a few good ones

YES! it's coming. I'm gonna get it for sure. Love puzzle games. Hope there will be more on the PSN.

Thanks for not giving me credit for sending this in. I just sent the email earlier and then boom this pops up and no credit to me...maybe someone sent it in earlier than me but still...

Anyway, this game is one of the most classic games ever and glad to see it hit the PSN finally.

Just so you know, this story was written 15 hours before you sent in your tip, but was scheduled to go up at the time that it did. You probably won't believe what I'm saying but that's how things work sometimes.

And what if the story WAS written just because you sent it in. So they put your name down there. Then what? Does it really matter? Really? You sent in a piece of news, and they ended up putting it on the site. It wasn't because of you, but what you thought was newsworthy managed to get up here anyway. Isn't that enough to keep you satisfied?

I just believe in credit where credit is due...I understand it may have been ready to go up already before I sent in my tip, just think you should give everyone credit not just one person. I dunno, not that big of a deal I guess...just saying.

I assure you that you wouldv'e been credited had we used your tip. The fact of the matter is, I hadn't read your e-mail until just prior to writing my last response to you right here. That's 4 hours after it went live Daniel...

o man.. not another puzzel game :( ... please no more boring games .. i want more RPG's .. i already finished eternal sonata and valkyria chronicles (great games by the way) and i also finished disgaea3 .. so come on .. more RPG"S not puzzles *sigh* .

not sure but there is an AO rated tetris. where the block are people. and when you get them lined up right itll make a certain position.lol brother had it on his laptop a long time ago. lol

my job had an adult section on the touch screen games for a short while. a female co worker sowed me one night at break. it had tings like picture matching, find the difference, triva where the win screen showed pin ups

Wonder if Peggle Knights will ever come to the PSN...that would be awesome.

That was my first thought too. They're releasing Peggle on XBLA in January. Why not PSN too? Eh, PopCap? Please?

(It would be nice, but when it comes to developers who did games for XBLA who now are working on PSN projects... Please, Q, give us E4 and Rez HD!!!!!!)
