Way to go sony! Snag exclusive DLC for SvR. We don't need it for any of those good games out there. Let microsoft have Fallout 3, GTA4, and get Rock Band first. Not a 360 fanboy. I am a proud PS3 owner but this is stupid. I do own a 360 but i am ready for my PS3 to be shown some love, she is a good ole girl and deserves more than table scraps on these multiplat games.
TinyTim121 @ Dec 22nd 2008 6:13PM
Yeah - Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet
Tell me how good games are there on the 360 you REALLY want?
Although yeah agreed in advance, Left4Dead looks awesome.
Taylor @ Dec 23rd 2008 11:12AM
Left 4 Dead isn't a 360 exclusive.
TinyTim121 @ Dec 23rd 2008 8:01PM
Don't recall saying it was
Just meant not on PS3 games

The only way Sony is going to obtain exclusive DLC that's worth mentioning is through Home. If they can manage to incorporate features that can only be accessed via Home that will lend itself useful to Home then MAYBE they'll manage to get something worthwhile.
Otherwise, exclusive DLC will most likely belong to the company with the highest install base making Sony the clear loser in that battle.
No offense, but I'm sure Xbots are peeing themselves laughing about sites like PS3Fanboy creaming over exclusive DLC... for a wrestling game. Meanwhile they look forward to exclusive DLC from GTAIV. Sure it's almost a year late but they're still getting it and we aren't.
Daniel @ Dec 22nd 2008 7:12PM
And that matters? GTA what? That game sucks and the DLC is based on the worst gang/story in the series, a lot of people agree that it's lame DLC. Again just because you don't like wrestling doesn't mean other people don't.
j.howlett @ Dec 22nd 2008 8:40PM
have you read anything by dustin burg?
incredibilistic @ Dec 23rd 2008 9:15AM
@Daniel:
My point is that no matter how great this DLC may seem it pales in comparison to the DLC that MS has managed to capture over Sony.
Also, you pissing on GTA is no different then me or anyone else commenting that this particular DLC deal is basically worthless in the grand scheme of things.
Getting exclusive DLC for a wrestling game doesn't begin to make up for losing GTA and FFXIII exclusivity not to mention all the special content MS gets over the PS3 like exclusive betas for CoD4 and SSFIIHDRemix. Then you have developers like Valve dropping PS3 development all together.
Anyway, my point is that this exclusive DLC is hardly anything to get excited about. The good news is that we have a good 2009 coming up. Killzone 2, GoWIII, Uncharted 2, Marvel Online, The Agency, inFAMOUS, GT5 and (hopefully) whatever Team ICO has cooking.
Daniel @ Dec 22nd 2008 7:11PM
HELL YES!!! This is awesome. To the first poster just because you don't like WWE doesn't mean no one dose, don't be a jerk.
Daniel @ Dec 22nd 2008 7:15PM
*does
LOL too excited to spell.
Nick @ Dec 22nd 2008 7:29PM
Wow, way to grab exclusive DLC for such a fantastic title.
rgoff31 @ Dec 23rd 2008 1:46AM
What we really need is some WWE areas in Home. Then trap anyone that goes there and never let them leave.
The Dark Trooper @ Dec 23rd 2008 5:49AM
Sounds like a good idea, How would you like to test it? :P
Fane @ Dec 23rd 2008 6:12PM
"Who doesn't like the word "exclusive"?"
That would be me. I say, "Enough with the console-exclusive content." I don't like it any better when it's PS3-exclusive than when it's 360-exclusive. If you (one) make the game for both consoles (Wii/PS2 versions are of course an exception due to hardware limitations), make the same content for both...unless, of course, the content is Sony- or Microsoft-specific, like the MGS4 sackboys in LBP (bad example: first-party) or the Halo theme song in Guitar Hero (?).
