American PSN releases for December 23rd

The waiting's finally over. Today's biggest release is easily the LittleBigPlanet Metal Gear Solid downloadable content, but there's plenty of other stuff to take a look at today. Not least of which is Lumines Supernova. There's also a load of the normal music-based DLC, plus some unexpected content for Disgaea 3. As if that wasn't enough, the PS1 classic RPG Suikoden also finds its way onto the Store today. What an awesome holiday gift. Here's the full release list:

This is probably the best update in a while. I hope Suikoden sales go well enough that they put Suikoden 2 up there (even though I already own it. It's still an awesome game that I hope more people get the opportunity to play).

i was going to buy the level pack...but 12 dlls for them :S thats pretty expensive. wont buy. Who gets the paintgun? the characters or the level pack?

I just downloaded the level pack, but I don't know where to "get to" those levels, and I can't see any special guard costume in-game either... and I just downloaded the 1.07 patch. wtf!

@naked and the rest of you who may be confused, instead of Story or Community, pick the Store at the bottom. You'll see a new icon on the Store planet for the MGS levels, pick it and play.

Is Suikoden a good game? I've never really played any turn-based RPGs; I just beat Eternal Arms and enjoyed it, although I got bored at times. It was pretty much the first turn-based RPG I've ever played.

I've never played Suidoken, but I have a couple suggestions. Final Fantasy Tactics is a classic. If you have a DS, Advance Wars is simple but really really fun.

Suikoden is a good game. The sequels, with the exception of the awful 4, are better, but it's only $6, so you should try it out. Plus, the sequels feature characters from the other games in the series, so it's good to start at the beginning, even though, you, technically, don't have to.

You get the paintball gun with the level pack. The costume pack is just that... costumes. If you want all the metal gear solid content (levels, parts, trophies, etc.) just get the level pack and don't worry about costumes

Just bought Lumines Supernova, and it's as awesome as ever. Said it many times before, best puzzle game since Tetris. Plan on getting Suikoden and LBP MGS4 content over Christmas break, I love you Sony! ^_^

Just finished off LBP MGS levels, and gotta say, only really two levels to really sink teeth in to, BUT, the items will unlock a whole new level of fun I think, once people start building levels with guns and new triggers. Funny storyline with the MGS levels though...
Interesting that the music and levels were delivered with the 1.07 update... the MGS download is only a megabyte in size.

i finished my cod:waw level a loooong time ago. i just went back and put a paint gun where reznov says "pick up the mosin-nagant and shoot the guards" and now all the germans have paint switches on them so they die after being shot 5 times. a french guy sent me a message asking where i got the cool gun and then hearted my level. :)

i thought the download was more like a voucher to let you access the levels online. because you have to go to the store section and then go to the levels from there.
