Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of January 4th

Are you surprised? Nothing's out this week. Literally nothing. Perfect opportunity to finish all those titles you haven't got around to yet. January's a yucky month anyway, so stock up on comfort foods and hot drinks and sink into your gaming backlog. Spring'll be here before you know it. Here's a list that contains nothing:

I love the idea that everyone reads every single word we write (honestly, it's a beautiful dream). Sadly, the reality is that most people tend to just skim the bullet-pointed lists for these release posts.

I guess that's a good point Jem but on the other hand if there was no list the post would have been just a few sentences. Basically just:

With a title of "No New Releases This Week!" Or something similar.

I think everyone would have read that. Making the list MAKES them skip the paragraph.

To be honest I guess I didn't think of your point because I do happen to read every word posted here. I only visit a very few websites each day, this being one of the main 3 and so I take the time to read them. BTW, thanks for your hard work, I just didn't see the point in the list.

I'll rest my case now, moving along...

Yeah I have a lot to play through but unfortunately my PS3 fell victim to the yellow light of doom on new years day. Poor me; now I have to play on my Wii, DS and PSP.

Hmm, well. It gives me plenty of time to go Lord of the Rings online and kik some @$$. Honestly, gandalf is a beast. I Can't wait to get it. I just bought Street Fighter 2: the ridiculous name HD Wickedsauce. It's fun.

I'm gonna go back and replay Pince of Persia and play with my new Disgaea dl content.

I picked up Motorstorm:Pacific Rift, man this game is so underrated, it KILLS Burnout Paradise, best racing game I've played, it is that freaking good.

I agree that it doesn't get the attention it deserves but I don't thin it KILLS BP. BP is a different beast in that it is SO MUCH FASTER to the point where you just give up trying to dodge traffic.MSPR is more about honing your racing line to perfection without flipping, wrecking, exploding, falling to your death.

Fallout3 is coming to Japan next week :)
But with alot of restrictions. I think I'll just buy the US version, because the JPN version is sensored too much.

hey guys sorry to bother you and change the topic but theres a problem with my ps3, here it goes

i put the disc(a game soul calibur 4) in the drive and the system reads it and plays it perfectly. but i hear a sound coming from the system , possibly the disc stopping to spin
for a very short period of time , but while the disc stopped spinning the game ran perfectly it didnt freeze or anything like that it just stopped to spin and rapidly began to do ot again its already gone but

can this problem affect my system?
can the disc reader become damaged? this way ?

i'd have to recommend that you put a disc in. start playing. as soon as you hear the noise, pick up your whole ps3, start yelling, and shake it as hard as you can!*

*i cannot be held liable for any damage done to your ps3 for actually taking this advice.

thank god.... i have put almost 50 hours into Fallout 3.... i have completed only the first two LBP levels, and i have CoD:WaW, Res 2, and FC2 all in the shrink wrap!!!!

I too got Pacific Rift at the weekend and it's rocking my socks off. Online multiplayer all the way.

Just Prestiged W@W - Figured I'd better do the Solo game having prestiged the multi, did that, ZOMBIES ROCKS!

Still hammering away at Endwar's Theatre of War, playing as Russia and we've gone from losing to controlling Washington and fighting for Paris in the past couple of weeks!

so yeah, plenty to play, with those and the odd bit of LBP - playing some of the awesome levels has stopped me bothering to create them a bit now though.

thinking about a LittleBigChopper though, as in Mark Brando Chopper Read. "Get those bloody ears off"
