PAIN glitch fixed, world now has solid ground

During the holiday break, we discovered a terrible bug in PAIN that rendered new purchases of the Abusement Park expansion completely unplayable. Looks like the bug has been identified and squashed. Scott Goryl from SCEA updated us saying the glitch is fixed. Those that experienced the bug will want to go back to the PlayStation Store and re-download the expansion pack.

With SCEA back in the full swing of things, we're hoping it won't be long until we see other eagerly awaited patches: SOCOM Confrontation's 1.3 patch, LittleBigPlanet save data fix, and Penny Arcade Adventures Ep. 2 save data fix.

I wonder if the LittleBigPlanet issue can be resolved by giving owners the option of allotting more memory to their profile from the hard drive?

Pain is great for playing with some friends. It has some cool multiplayer modes like "fun with explosives" and bowling. I did not find it fun playing alone but it is awesome for some fun party play.

i seriously doubt pain got any special treatment.
in fact, i doubt the socom patch will be out soon anyway. The devs for that game are retarded, and any posts of theirs about the patch being released soon come from the same magical thinking that advertised features like playing as foreign special forces, trophies and whatnot.

they couldn't develop their way out of a wet paper bag
