Scrabble for iPhone is 5 bucks. 30 seems quite a bit excessive to me. As much as I would like to buy this game, it's unlikely that I will.

Man that would be too silly if it didnt had a multiplayer option. I guess we are one step closer to PSP Solitary!

Finally, a REAL killer app!
...sorry.
But yeah, this should be a PSN download for (at most) $10. Not a full retail package for $30.

Shaqtastic!

No one but a true Scrabble fetishist will even consider this for $30.
You can get the real thing for like $12 on Amazon, ffs...

Having tried many board games for the PSP like the Ultimate Board Collection and Puzzler, I can say the problem lies in the controls. Skipping, under time constraints, through numerous letters by pressing buttons was not at all fun.
I like board games, but I hope they get this one right.

I'll consider buying it used if it has Infrastructure. :D
If it doesn't, I'll laugh. That means you and your buddy will have to pool $60 to play some Scrabble on your PSPs.

sony boy @ Jan 6th 2009 5:49PM
uh... EA??? there's a place called psn for the psp. maybe you can make it a downloadable for at least 15 bucks tops. @$$hole.
Turbo @ Jan 6th 2009 5:56PM
Ummm... epic fail. I'm sorry, as much of a PSP fanboy as I am, the PSP is dead.
McManus @ Jan 6th 2009 7:57PM
what makes you think the PSP is dead?
just because its getting a $30 board game added to its library?
MBO @ Jan 6th 2009 7:02PM
uh... i cant seem to think of any rude 4 letter words.
Jacksons @ Jan 6th 2009 8:41PM
$30!? That's ridiculous.
Spideyman @ Jan 6th 2009 10:53PM
I own both a PSP and a DS and I own a version of Scrabble for the DS that is great. A game like this is just so much easier to play with a stylus on a touch screen.
I won't bother spending 30 bucks for the PSP version.

As a lover of board games who has no friends, I fully support more video game versions of board games.
Philip @ Jan 8th 2009 3:10AM
if they can sell patapon at $20 launch, they can sell scrabble for that price...what is hasbro thinking
tiffanyacz @ Jan 8th 2009 2:22AM
$30?
I'd rather got a psp converter for my psp 3000, it can help me put DVD movie to PSP easier.

I really hope this is NOT like the PS1 version of 'scrabble', where they totally gutted the word list and removed not only the words which might offend grandma, but about 20,000 other words also. The ONLY way to get the REAL scrabble experience in a handheld (GB Color, GBA) is to get it imported from the UK, because those aren't censored. I don't have the DS version though, so maybe it's not so bad?
