Skate 2 demo arrives on PlayStation Store next week

EA's Skate 2 will be arriving on the PlayStation Store next week. Strange, considering the demo is available on Xbox Live this week. Maybe EA is playing console favorites again? (PSN has been home to demos of Lord of the Rings Conquest, The Simpsons Game and others earlier than on Xbox Live.) Regardless of the one week delay, PS3 fans can expect a lot to do in the demo, especially as it includes access to two online "Party Play" modes: Thrasher's Hall of Meat and Spot Battle.

I'm getting this game regardless of the demo, but it sure would have been nice to play it this week (considering it'll be out in two weeks).

I really hate that games come out for one or the other. They should come out on the same day. My money is just as good as anyones.

awesomeeeee.
the first game was great. I played that demo for hours.. even with the 30 minute limit. then i got the game and played the hell out of it.
I can't wait for skate2. its gonna be sickk.. i need more money.

I love the original skate. I agree with the above, i purchased the last game, is my money less important because i own a ps3 not an xbox?

Maybe they know ps3 users have few games to choose between compared to xbox so we will buy it regardless... =]

this most likely is Sony's fault, not EA's. i just hope it's 60 FPS like i heard it would be. the only major flaw with the first one was the shitty frame rate.

I am Genuinenly dissapointed by this, most demos appearing on PSN are completely disposable this was different - ahh EA if you don't balls up this you could always release a patch the day after release- ehh assholes!!??

I cannot believe the cry-baby, "me first" mentality of society nowadays. Stop crying about X360 getting something before you. Stop crying about SCEE, SCEA, and SCEJ not having the ability to release everything day and date. Be thankful you have the opportunity to play a demo at all. You don't "deserve" sh*t. There are a variety of marketing alliance and distribution factors that some of you can't wrap your tiny selfish brains around. It's got nothing to do about whether your money is "good enough" - of course they want your money.

As good as the Skate 2 demo may or may not be, some day soon you will look back on your whining and say "you know, waiting an extra week wasn't really worth embarassing myself on the forums".

Well i think that everyone should be treated equal about demos being release on xbox 360 or ps3 or w/e. but me as a skateboader i love skate on the ps3 nd maybe fucking EA should have gives us a chance to also play skate 2 demo for ps3. NOT COOL EA:-( ND YEA DUDE MAYBE I MIGHT CRY LMKO

My brother has xbox live and got the demo and it so addictive preordered my game so its delivered to my door the dy of release, cant wait until i can play it in my room and dont have to beg my bro to use his xbox lol

The PSN update hasn't happened in the US yet. It will be there when it updates.

It is out on the PSN just instead of going to demos/new releases for whatever just go to new releases on the main PSN menu.

yo if ur still waitin on the ps3 version of the skate 2 demo all u have to do is create a new user and say u live in hong kong and do the saame for the playstation network and it will be in the store for some stupid reason, but it works soo if u cant wait do it up
