The 1.3 patch for SOCOM Confrontation adds a ton of new features, such as Trophies. The PlayStation Network-exclusive online game will certainly test your skill. These are Trophies for the truly dedicated SOCOM soldier.

This still doesn't beat Warhawk for the hardest platinum trophy, but some of those trophies are just absolutely ridiculous. I don't mind a challenge but the time those trophies require is a bit insane.

Unlike most games, these aren't the kind of trophies where you go out of the way to get them. They just just come as you play the game well, and correctly....the way they should be.

These trophies are pretty lame. They should be more focused for one game accomplishments. Yeah, I know a lot of losers will just play with their buddies to get these trophies, but I don't care. Let them get those trophies the lame way. Who cares? For those that are gung-ho for these trophies, it will just encourage more camping for those players who aren't even bigger losers who play in rooms with friends or clanmates only to rack up consecutive kills. And as someone already said, most of these trophies will come to players who simply play the game a lot. Why not have trophies with more meaning or are more interesting. How about your team winning so many consecutive rounds playing against 8 or more players, e.g. Or winning so many games in a row. Or maybe getting to 500 kills with a hit percentage over 15% (with less than 300 snipe kills). Or having more than 500 kills with less than 500 deaths, e.g. 3 bomb defusals in one game.
Either way, I'm not going to care if I get any of these trophies. I'm going to play the game I play, and take the trophies as they come.

Well Im surprised at ps3Fanboy.com, usually they will not post something up until they know its live. SAVE YUORSELF THE TROUBLE THE PATCH IS NOT LIVE! Why fanboy would you post this and move socom to the games suporting trophies on the 'trophy portal'? yeah i agree, i sent in the request for the trophy list...told them where they could find it....then they throw it up on the available trophies spot......so i turned on my ps3 and find out that there wasnt any update nor trophies ..i wasted my time and my electricity to find out there was no patch........................ I wouldn't really say these are "hard", as much as they are time consuming. Wipeout's trophies like "Beat Zico" in particular involve not only constant repetitive play and nearly expertise in the game, in addition to strategy solving. However, these trophies only require a substantial amount of time. I mean I only quickly skimmed the list and only played the PSP versions of Socom, however I have completed other shooters such as Halo's achievements (which I do admit are much easier than this as any idiot can get em), yet still all the trophies do look possible just require switching back to this game every so often from playing Killzone :)

The 1.3 patch for SOCOM is coming out this week or next week. Trophies will be in that patch. /6 delayed the patch which is suppose to fix all the bugs in the game just because of the trophies. No need to get your panties in a bunch Steven.

But yeah, the trophies really are not that hard to get, just requires time. BF 2142 didnt have difficult trophies, just time consuming. Once you spend some time playing SOCOM trophies will be dropping one by one and before you know it, youll catch em' all.

to be completely honest...i think all stats should be reset, just for the fact of the stats not counting right.....and the lag issues everybody has that just makes the game play all out of whack....they should patch and then fix the issues then return to the stats being counted!!!!! thers more i can say but im wasting my time anyhow GOOD LUCK SOCOM fans!
