STREETS OF RAGE 2!?!?!?!?!
SWEET JESUS!!!!
day one buy as long as its just $8 or less.......
Organic_Shadow @ Jan 8th 2009 7:39PM
all hail STREETS OF RAGE 2!!!! i wonder if the ultimate sega pack thing will have trophies for each game. probably not. if the individual SoR2 download has trophies and is updated ala megaman 9 style, i will totally throw down $8 on this. my first and most-beaten game EVAR.
Miguel @ Jan 8th 2009 4:30PM
I just want altered beast on PSN. That's it!
j.howlett @ Jan 8th 2009 4:36PM

i remember afternoons playing streets of rage. my brother and i played 1 through 3, a couple times
XDragon @ Jan 8th 2009 4:43PM
I feel that money is better spent on the Genesis Collection coming out. I love the 16bit era but why pay for a few games on the PSN when you can have them and a bunch more for around the same price?! Sure its ok if you only want 1 or 2 games, but the game list looks pretty sweet!
JaseH @ Jan 8th 2009 8:36PM
As far as I'm concerned the upcoming Ultimate Genesis Collection for the PS3 & 360 does not feature any Street Fighter games, so how is it relavant?
Still a good collection I might add. Especially for those who enjoy Altered Beast.

so umm yea.......guess I will be getting the Ultimate Collection.........didnt know all that was in there and its a MUCH better buy.......
XDragon @ Jan 9th 2009 8:49AM
JaseH,
What does Street Fighter have to do with Sega?
Capcom makes Steert Fighter, Sega makes Streets Of Rage 1-3.
The collection contains Sega games made for the Genesis so I don't see the relavance of your comment.
Ghaleon @ Jan 8th 2009 4:46PM
Those Genesis transparencies are gonna look GREAT in 1080p.
mcx @ Jan 8th 2009 4:54PM
SEGA! Get me some Sonic CD and am all over that.
Mixer23 @ Jan 8th 2009 5:03PM
am i the only one that thinks this has been rated FOR the genesis collection and not for individual release?
ultramega @ Jan 8th 2009 4:55PM
Can't wait for the Genesis Collection. Picking that up day one.
Confucius @ Jan 8th 2009 4:59PM
U will only catch me playin or buyin this game only if it has 2 player co-op support. where i can play with a buddy next to me or maybe online.
Kombat @ Jan 8th 2009 10:27PM
i 2nd that... id fux w It if the shit was online.. most def.ly
Vincent @ Jan 8th 2009 5:04PM
Awesome, but I already pre-ordered the Genesis Collection. I'm a big Mega Drive fan, couldn't skip that chance!
kentuckyfried @ Jan 8th 2009 5:07PM
Yah! Streets of Rage was something we always liked playing on the Genesis...
Ruiner @ Jan 8th 2009 5:37PM
How are the trophies gonna work? Will this have its own set of trophies different from the genesis collection?
Viewtiful Jason2 @ Jan 8th 2009 6:05PM
Where did this screenshot come from? The HUD is different, there are extra textures, shadows, and enemies from Streets of Rage 3. Is this a fan mock-up?
Gillfigno @ Jan 8th 2009 11:26PM
It's the first image that comes up when you google image search 'Streets of Rage.'
It's from some guy's MySpace page.
1664 @ Jan 8th 2009 7:12PM
iv still got my mega drive and game gear, toe jam and earl 1 ftw!
SNEECHES @ Jan 8th 2009 10:25PM
This is retarded!!!! There is a SEGA MEGA collection coming out in February and all for only 30$. Streets of rage 1,2 and 3 i think are all included...plus about 100 more sega classics.
PSN is ripping people off with these individual ones.
Vincent @ Jan 9th 2009 4:19AM
No, it's giving some people an option. Now chill.
SoulBlade @ Jan 8th 2009 9:52PM
are the multiplayer portions online or local only?
stargateheaven @ Jan 9th 2009 7:02AM
YEAH or just buy the sega mega collection with updated graphics for HD, and trophies. Has those games and more for cheap. so no, no thanks sega.
silverwolf761 @ Jan 9th 2009 9:31AM
It doesn't really have "updated graphics", they're just scaling the image so it will go fullscreen. the graphics themselves will not be changed, so they'll look quite pixelated on an HD display (unless they do some filtering, which will just blur the textures so the individual pixels don't stand out so much).
Regardless, the Ultimate Collection is an absolute must-buy for me (as long as the emulation is done well enough)
-- Amir -- @ Jan 9th 2009 9:53PM
Cool. Now i can brush up on my skillz0r before sf4
KosmoCrisis @ Jan 10th 2009 4:44AM
My guess is that the PSN titles are arcade ports, so the quality will be higher than the titles on the Genesis or Mega Collections.
higeki @ Jan 10th 2009 8:13PM
WTF? Just download the ROMs and play them on emulators. Money saved.
