Retailers say Killzone 2 hits UK on February 27th

Sometimes when Sony refuses to comment on something, there are others who will be happy to do so. In the case of release dates, retailers are the best people to turn to and, as Eurogamer have found out, tend to know when high profile games are likely to be released. Like Killzone 2 hitting the UK on February 27th, two days after certain other European territories. It's unconfirmed by SCEE, but these are the dates certain retailers have been "advised to expect" the launch.

This falls in line with the American release date, which is also February 27th. A demo is also expected to hit sometime before the game launches.

I can't wait for this game...they got me hyped up...i pre ordered at Gamestop. I think the demo is Feb 3 for preorder?

1. preorder KZ2 on dutch site.
2. still EU so i can get future dlc, and get it two days earlier in the uk.

You could pre order from amazon and just make an Eu account if you don't already have one then bingo best of both worlds.

yea i hadnt realized EU was getting the demo before the game drops either until just now. well that settles that, i'll just download it from the EU store with my EU account and pre-order from GameCrazy since i absolutely loathe my local GameStop staff.

I pre-ordered the game yesterday at game stop and got the free demo via a sctratch off card for the demo downlaod.
Unfortunately the demo is not available for downlaod until Feb 5th!!! WTF!!!

Just the year 2009. No month or date.
I'm really pi**ed at the guys at sony. What are they doing?!

Red Bull no coming to Home (Japan), no EA lobby, no content from MTV... Why are they doing this to us....

Were in the EU all games are supposed to be released same day for us! It's pathetic! Normally we cant get games early (no translation needed) but have to get same time as EU but now that EU gets first why don't we!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
