This game better have an excellent story and since Cole is a superhero it better have a memorable villain, because running around just shooting lighting might get old, same with Prototype

I fully agree, they really need to extend some character development. There should be no reason the game should be beat within 6 hours.

yeah, don't want another mirror's edge

Crackdown had absolutely no plot to it and that game NEVER gets old. Tons of people are still playing it a year and a half after it came out.
I don't see why inFamous/Prototype can't do the same, especially since they have that to build on.
Besides, shooting lightning out of your hands never gets old. This game is going to rock.

the lighting bolts are weak. hopefully when u upgrade it some more it'll become way more powerful. took forever to kill some of them. this game looks like it will be good. but not as good as i first thought. i was hoping you get to actually be like a villain but i have a feeling you will be the good guy no matter what.

If you watched the interview on Gametrailers then you would know that your powers progress as you can experience. They didn't want to give you all of your powers upfront as that wouldn't make any logical/gameplay sense.

You gain different powers depending on your moral choices.

this honestly seems more fun than prototype, but the story of prototype is less risky
tiamat5 @ Jan 12th 2009 4:56PM
It seems more fun then Prototype because it is obviously a violence fest. If you think that Prototype will have an engaging or coherent storyline, you obviously haven't been a gamer for very long. This game is made to be as violent and destructive as possible judging by the moves and the killing of innocent peopel. I mean am I supposed to feel sorry for or root for this cold-blooded murderer? I already feel sorry for Cole because he is misunderstood and caught up in this madness so I can see liking him, but this Prototype guy seems very unlikable.

Why am I still not convinced with this game? I really want to, but I'm not seeing what I expect from this developer.
This game needs a demo desperately.

I Think this game is a little better than Prototype...
