When
Prinny: Can I really be the Hero? was released in Japan last November, we were left wondering whether we'd see any of the
cool swag from Japan come our way. Surprisingly, all those goodies are being released in North America alongside the game's NA debut on February 17. In fact, there will be multiple specialty Premium Box sets commemorating the release. Here are the three sets:
Premium Box Set [$39.99]:
- Game
- Soundtrack
- Comic from Penny Arcade
Hero to the Rescue Set [$64.99]
- Premium Box contents
- Red Scarf Prinny plushie
- Prinny PSP Pouch
Ultra Dessert Set [$69.99]:
- Premium Box contents
- Red Scarf Prinny plushie
- Prinny PSP Pouch
- Disgaea Graphic Novel
The final and most expensive set, the Ultra Dessert one, is pictured above. Planning to pick up the game? Then you better decide which set suits your tastes more. You can pre-order or check out more at NIS' official store,
RosenQueen.

Sweet! I am totally in love with NIS, they are bringing serious PSP love. All we need now is a remake of Makai Kingdom or Phantom Brave.
mr.electic @ Jan 12th 2009 10:37AM
i heard, and read about those two games... yeah in the mold of Disgaea.. but different!
it'll be nice to have those two or one.
SAGExSDX @ Jan 12th 2009 10:04AM
is this only going to be available on the rosenqueen site? or will other retailers offer the bundles?
prateeko @ Jan 12th 2009 5:12PM
Well, the premium box will be sold everywhere (initially at least, like Mana Khemia). There is nothing limited about these sets since you can buy everything separately at RQ, only thing the sets get you is savings, but considering the way game prices fall these days it may not be much...
SAGExSDX @ Jan 12th 2009 6:31PM
yeah, i was just hoping that the $65 or $70 set(s) would be available at retail. Shipping really puts a larger impact on buyability ($8-$12)

If anyone hasn't clicked the link and just wants one thing (like the plushie or the case), they are all available individually as well. That's pretty cool right there.
That plushie is verrrry tempting.....
NukeAssault @ Jan 12th 2009 4:57PM
You would figure you would get everything in the ULT edition... The sound track would be nice. =\
Chow @ Jan 12th 2009 9:58PM
@NukeAssault:
Both the Ultra & Hero packages contain the entire first package, soundtrack included.
Chow @ Jan 12th 2009 10:07PM
I think both the Ult & Hero edition contains the "premium set", which includes the game, soundtrack, and comic.
Chow @ Jan 12th 2009 10:09PM
Sorry for the triple-post. For some reason, the first comment never sent me a confirmation e-mail, when when I reposted a second time, the first comment appeared finally, though it was before I clicked the confirmation e-mail. o.O

I just wish they would bring Princess Crown out for PSP, I had read in Play that the Saturn version was released on PSP in Japan not too long ago. Thanks for the cool extras with this game Atlus. I will also buy Disgaea 2 for PSP. Atlus and SCEE Studio Liverpool have vaulted to the top spot on my PSP over the years.
