Tenchu 4 PSP trailer showcases plenty of ninja action

From Software just released a Japanese trailer for the PSP version of Tenchu 4 and it has everything one would expect from a game of the stealth-action franchise. Check it out after the jump -- badass ninjas sneaking around at night, check. Villain with a maniacal laugh, check. Blades piercing various people, check. Damsel in distress, check. The graphics also look like they haven't suffered a downgrade compared to the Wii version. Still no word yet on a US release.
And last but not least, the trailer confirms the inclusion of kittens in the game. Is it too early to crown Tenchu 4 GOTY?

Tenchu 4 for was the reason i was jealous of my friend's wii now its on the PSP , thats great!
i just hope really really hope they have the cool "Create a level" that was on the second game , imagine creating a level and publishing it online like in little big planet but tenchu style

Awesome. I loved Tenchu Z but could never get into any of the Tenchu games that would only allow you to see five feet in front of you. I've been waiting for this game on psp.

Alright. It seems like they've managed to improve the camera and the draw distances, so with a little control tweaking, this game could be stellar. If it doesn't see an American release I'll have to bitTorrent it though.

Tenchu will probably not be coming to the us. Because of a gay company we won't mention *cough* Ubisoft *cough*... any ways this looks nice.

ubisoft is a gay company? wow, i had no idea that there were any publishers that catered specifically to homosexuals.
also, it's coming out for the wii in the U.S. next month, so why wouldn't the PSP port come out, too, eventually? oh, that's right, you're just talking out of your ass... again.

he meant to mock Ubisoft. games catering to homosexual audiences? never heard. But he just meant to mock them, or maybe you knew that lol. Actually, the way they made Time of the Assassins was gay. While it was nice playing it, the draw distance was freaking poor! It's hard to play because of the clunky controls. That's why I don't play it much... how the heck can you be stealthy if the next enemy will pop up all of a sudden?
I think this will see a U.S release, or Europe release to come. I mean, most games we know never come to Japan come anyway (case in point: Dissidia, Prinny, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G) so we will eventually see the PSP version come out so don't worry. But the problem is you have to wait. Patience people! :)
Tenchu 4... seriously needs to give PSP some ninjas!

This had better come out in the US because I have not picked up my PSP in months and I want too. But all the good game I own and there are none coming out. I would buy this game on a UMD disk or even off of PSN if I had too. So I really hope this game come out over here too.

too much fog, limited character animation, dense missions, mission editor=bleh.
nuff said. im not looking forward to this but PLEASE developers of tenchu 4, prove me wrong....
