Let's face it -- games aren't very cheap, especially at launch. amazon.com has a pretty decent price on the Killzone 2 pre-order: $52, shipped using coupon code KZ2SAVE5. The amazon.com pre-order also gives you access to exclusive costumes to wear in PlayStation Home.

The excellent reviews so far should alleviate any concerns you may have had about its quality. You may want to take advantage of this deal -- if you can afford to wait the extra days it'll take to come in the mail.

Toobad its 5th on Amazon UK, i think that also shows more americans know about killzone compared to EU, Still havent seen any TV ads or posters or anything, i wouldnt know about KZ if i never did my reseach all those years ago.

would be nice if they have Release date Delivery like they did with Gears 2.....but as of right now its still saying March 4th.......with Prime 2 day delivery is just $4 but I dont feel like paying that just to get it a day earlier........maybe if it was Release date then I would do it.....

Very tempting...but SFIV and RE5 are my only next 2 purchases. I might pick this up after I'm done with RE5. I have too many RPGs I haven't beaten on my PS2 that I am trying catching up on, and FPS (online) sucks way too much time.

If I had that costume in Home, I'd be tempted to try and take cover and pop out and kill someone. Then I'd discover I couldn't, cry out in frustration, and likely throw my controller through the TV.

The Gamestop/EB Games offer is way better! Demo in 4 days! so stoked to play it while recovering from my Superbowl hangover!

How is it better to get something thats a BONUS yet will be useless when you get the game??? Hell at least the GameCrazy pre-order give you a REAL Tshirt and Amazon gives you Home Clothes....I guess I like pre-order bonuses that you can use AFTER the game is out....

I agree that it is kind of lame to get a demo only for it to be obsolete in a month, but on the other hand, none of the other pre-order bonuses interest me. I would never wear the shirt and I have used Home once since the beta and don't really plan on using it again :/

So, I will mess around on the demo before I get the game. Hopefully have my skills honed so that I can own on the day it is released ;)

To each his own, I suppose. I'm usually a very impatient person, and also don't spend a lot of time on Home :) (until it has something you can actually do on it, I won't use it much... I've done the Red Bull airplane thing a couple times, and it was fun...for a couple times. I've put bubble machines everywhere, and I've bought clothes and rearranged my apartment-thing...)

Am I the only one that believes Gamestop DEMO with PRE-ORDER is a GREAT IDEA?

Hear me out on this, a couple days after the pre order demo releases, im going to my grandparents house. And like all grandparents, none of them have cable internet. And any time i go to my grandparents house, me and my cousins are always playing games on there tv, offline (my cousins only own 360/wii, no ps3). So if this was a beta, id be screwed, b/c those require online connections. Unfortunately I still could be screwed because I still haven't heard confirmation of this demo being offline. Mostly when I think of demo i think offline, but anyone have confirmation yet?

I still think the demo from Gamestop is 10 times better than a costume for Home that your only going to use just once or maybe never. Besides I would hate to pay extra money for shipping/handeling just to have the game the day it comes out. Plus I am sure it will be sold out and maybe even backed ordered. If Sony offered the Helgeist costume on Home instead of through preordering Killzone 2 on amazon, I would buy it.
