Warhawk game space hits Home this week
The "Warhawk Command Center" will be added to PlayStation Home this week, confirmed Sony during today's Destination PlayStation event. This new game space allows Warhawk fans to plan new strategies together. This is one of the first game spaces to have been revealed for Home -- we're glad to see it finally going live.

well Warhawk game launching has been there for a while
Lars @ Feb 24th 2009 9:07PM
Hell yeah Chris D! Glad it's finally here though. Just the sort of thing to re-invigorate Warhawk again. Such an awesome game.
Heavytoka @ Feb 24th 2009 12:15PM
As nice as this is, it feels a little late
Friend @ Feb 24th 2009 12:30PM
Wonder how long it will take Europe to get this
Echnaton @ Feb 24th 2009 4:02PM
Well I hope it does not take to long until we get that in europe to !
Rick Lee @ Feb 24th 2009 12:32PM
super late. very pointless addition now and should of been working on other stuff
Jon D @ Feb 24th 2009 12:41PM
this will probably spark a bit more usage of Warhawk. nevertheless, that's one promise fulfilled and a billion more to go. we should see the next game space in summer. lol
flynn110 @ Feb 24th 2009 1:22PM

McManus @ Feb 24th 2009 4:35PM

bigpurps @ Feb 24th 2009 1:15PM
warhawk huh????? anyone play that game anymore? good thing we've got planing rooms now....
Maulok @ Feb 24th 2009 3:41PM
It has a very large player base, whose skill level and 1337 attitude have made it virtually impenetrable for new players.
ryuk @ Feb 24th 2009 3:58PM
i play all the time
rohan @ Feb 24th 2009 1:17PM
Killzone space any1? but anyways a little to late but i will still check it out none the less (after 72hrs gaming spree of KZ2)
JuanDHexen @ Feb 24th 2009 2:11PM
whoa a 72hr gaming spree of KZ2, I was only going to do 48hrs
ryuk @ Feb 24th 2009 4:02PM
honestly, i don't see how people play games that much, i see people on COD4 that has like 60 days clocked in, i got the game on release and i have 2 days and i thought i played a lot
rohan @ Feb 24th 2009 6:14PM
well i over exaggerate the fact but it will be close to that
maroofh @ Feb 24th 2009 1:49PM
wow and I was about to trade in warhawk last week. Stupid bundle with headset...doesn't allow me to resell....
Kabapu @ Feb 24th 2009 2:07PM
Why can't you? There's nothing stopping you. If it says "Not for resale" anywhere on the packaging, that's not valid. Law protects your right of first sale (allowing you to sell what you've purchased; that "notification" that it's not for resale can't stop you).
Buck Naked @ Feb 24th 2009 3:25PM
'Not for Resale' or 'Not marked for resale' on food or other items just indicated that the necessary legal information that you are supposed to put on items to sell them to the public are not on the individual items inside.
Like if I buy a huge case of candy, and each package inside doesn't include the nutrition info, then it's not marked for resale. Similarly, if the FCC info on the bluetooth headset is on the outside of the big box, and not on the little package inside, it's not marked for resale.
You still own the items and have every right to sell them, but I guess if there's some catastrophe due to the buyer's ignorance of the frequency or calories, you could be in trouble? It's pretty clear you won't get in any trouble, actually.. especially if selling to Gamestop, which already knows the info that isn't marked, or sell it in the original large package.
Maulok @ Feb 24th 2009 3:44PM
Trade that puppy in. My copy of Motorstorm was a used copy from the bundle marked "not for resale". Gamestop and my local CD Warehouse have a metric ton of "not for resale" bundled games they accepted as trades.
maroofh @ Feb 24th 2009 5:13PM
No, it says "not to be sold seperately" i.e. without the headset. And I need the headset at least untill the PS3 one is finally released in the U.K
j.howlett @ Feb 24th 2009 5:23PM
that not for resale an not to be sold separately stuff is for the stores to follow when it's released. i knew poaces that sold demo disc that i got free in the mail
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread - XBL: SoCoolCurt) @ Feb 25th 2009 10:30PM
i traded my copy yesterday. i kept the headset and just traded the game. remember, they do sell it in the store with and without the headset, so if you dont wanna trade the headset, just trade the game and clear case (forget the big box it all came in).
j.howlett @ Feb 24th 2009 1:58PM
why are people complaining, people still play this game so it'll get used
Barry32171 @ Feb 24th 2009 2:05PM
A lot of people still play Warhawk, but I tend to agree... A bit late in coming. Wasn't this supposed to be part of the launch for Home? Anyways, additions to Home are still always good.
FD @ Feb 24th 2009 2:12PM
I would say better late than never. People need to stop acting so spoiled and ungrateful. It's free after all. Plus it will be a reason for me to pick up the game again.
I like how sometimes it takes some added content or something like this to blow some new life in a game that I haven't touched in a while.
This Warhawk room will hopefully inspire other developers too to create game rooms for their games in Home. Try to see things from a positive side instead of constantly bitching about everything people.
Pukel @ Feb 24th 2009 2:42PM
Warhawk is the best online game around. I won't be playing anything else until Warhawk 2.
rgoff31 @ Feb 24th 2009 3:10PM
About time is right. I wish they would come out with some KZ2 in Home and launching before R3 or KZ3 come out.
ihatereading @ Feb 24th 2009 4:30PM
Cool, i love Warhawk. But now wheres my Resistance: Fall of man game space?? Ive been waiting on that for awhile...
willxcore @ Feb 24th 2009 4:38PM
As much as I love Warhawk, Home is utterly pointless to me. I'm glad to see Sony support it and that it didn't eventually turn into vaporware, I'm also glad that there are people who actually log in and care about Home. I deleted the Home installation from my PS3 altogether, though :/
Matt @ Feb 24th 2009 5:46PM
Warhawk for the win!
Khaled @ Feb 24th 2009 6:33PM
Does anyone know if Killzone 2 will have game-launching???!!!
Also, what games launch except for Warhawk?
ImSooFlye @ Feb 24th 2009 7:18PM
will it keep you going back to home once you first check it out?
Nate @ Feb 25th 2009 8:19AM
never played warhawk, but this home space does seem like a good idea - though it would probably be more useful closer to when the game was released...
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread - XBL: SoCoolCurt) @ Feb 25th 2009 10:36PM
Warhawk is an amazingly addictive game. i definitely suggest picking it up if you can find it cheap (try eBay, should be dirt cheap by now). i just traded my copy in though since my internet sucks to much to let me play it online, and since it's an online only game, it's been sitting on the shelf for a while. my friend has it too (the reason i bought it in the first place) so i used to play online split screen all the time at his house. we even got a LAN party hooked up one time with 2 consoles, 2 TV's and 8 people. damn that was fun!
