PS3's H.A.W.X. supports YouTube video uploads
Embedded above is a video demo of the new uploading system and, from our brief analysis, the entire process looks relatively easy. Simply record a short jet-fighter clip -- featuring some amazing dogfighting, a few barrel rolls and lots of "pew-pew-pew" action -- and then log in and upload to YouTube in game. No computer required!
Now, if only we could find a reason and a way to integrate H.A.W.X. into our Twitter feed ...

Saw this a couple days ago, and it's a feature I am looking forward to.
Every dev out there should be utilizing the PS3's feature set instead of keeping the 360's and PS3's versions identical.
Gemini Ace @ Mar 4th 2009 4:14PM
IMO, this is the one thing that would make me choose a multiplatform game on the PS3 and not the 360. Bring this to better games than HAWX.

Its official! PS3 wins the console war! ~~~~

WHAT!!! or you kidding me...It took no time at all to upload the video to youtube...More ps3 games should use this feature....I may have to rent this game now omg
Darkdrium777 @ Mar 4th 2009 7:10PM
Probably was uploading to an internal test server, explaining why it was this fast :)
But yes, more games should support this feature, like custom music and photo mode.
xnicox @ Mar 4th 2009 4:32PM
nice feature...too bad the game sucks.
dont get me wrong, its scenery is beautiful, but the game, you know the part you interact with...sucks...thank you Ubisoft for saving me $60 bucks with that demo.

more devs should implement this feature with PS3 games. would be SO nice to see how fast people beat Radec or just how many times you PWNED that particular dumb ass in Multiplayer
CrzyNick @ Mar 4th 2009 4:36PM
Oh great!!!
Too bad my ps3 is DEAD!!!!!!!!
Fuck yellow!!!!
RasenganFury @ Mar 4th 2009 4:57PM
I wish more games would use this feature, then i wouldn't need a capture card. Hopefully the next game that supports it is one that i'll be getting. "Pew Pew Pew" lol
jarhead906 @ Mar 4th 2009 5:45PM
Come on Sony. This is EXACTLY why you make things mandatory from day one instead of allowing it to be an option.
Most companies won't care unless it proves to be highly beneficial to sales. I mean how hard is it to force In-Game Screen Shot functionality on developers?
Tez @ Mar 4th 2009 6:19PM
Now that Youtube allows HD(-ish) video, will the uploads be in high-def or smeary SD?
Darkdrium777 @ Mar 4th 2009 7:09PM
Judging from PixelJunk Eden's similar function, it's not even High Quality.
Though it's not the same game so maybe they 'upped' it somehow.
XGM @ Mar 4th 2009 6:42PM
Cool feature, we need more of this for other games. Tho the demo left me underwhelmed...
shadowhowl1900 @ Mar 4th 2009 7:09PM
holy crap, a NON-exclusive game was the first to implement a feature. Shows what Sony can do for themselves
whazam1337 @ Mar 4th 2009 10:43PM
wtf is like with this game its so bad the demo was terrible.
Pukel @ Mar 4th 2009 8:57PM
Warhawk 2 please.
Jared @ Mar 5th 2009 12:59PM
YES, i second that...
mjnym @ Mar 4th 2009 9:13PM
The Demo was not that great, but then again it was a demo.
tmontana213 @ Mar 4th 2009 9:53PM
Cool
michael.grajalesgmailcom @ Mar 4th 2009 11:51PM
This feature is awesome, I hope some first person shooters have this in them. I would love to shoot some one in head, put it up on youtube and bash the noob
Carney @ Mar 5th 2009 10:45AM
Very cool. And I like that the clip used the Dassault Rafale, an under-recognized carrier capable fighter from France, the only other nation to have a nuclear powered aircraft carrier.
