Secret Agent Clank may karate chop PS2
Some may argue that the PSP games library is filled with PS2 ports. Those people are wrong. In fact, it's the PS2 library that's filled with PSP ports! Joining games like Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, it appears Secret Agent Clank will be receiving its very own PS2 port. GameFly currently has a listing for a PS2 version of last year's stealth-inspired platformer. Considering the developer's track record, a PS2 port seems quite inevitable.
Some may dislike seeing PSP lose yet another exclusive, but we're impressed that Sony still continues to offer PS2 owners new games. Nine years into the PS2's life, and it's still chugging along quite nicely.

ya, the psp lost an exclusive... to another Sony console that has been out for 9 years. i played the demo when it came out, and i was slightly underwhelmed

10 year plan! gotta port what you can.
it'll probably be cheap too. but I wonder if it will hurt the PSP version sales.
Sony should port PS classics to the PSP instead.
like Digimon World... oh boy.
The PS2 is practically dead. unless sony has something up their sleeves and creates a PS2 VAIO WALKMAN WHATEVER THIS IS.

*Sigh* we need more games on the PSP.
and if they can more original titles on the PS2.

well we ARE getting littlebigplanet, motorstorm, assassin's creed, and rock band (how is that even going to work though) along with dissidia final fantasy and resistance retribution. i think the psp needs some good rpgs though that are modern and designed for the psp

Wow... anybody who laughs at the idea of a ten year lifespan for PS3 should just look at this... these PS2 games just won't stop!! :P

i don't mind the games going from one to the other but it'd be nice to get a psp ps2 bundle

I wish I knew what High Impact Games were up to.

Honestly, I'm surprised I'm not seeing more PSP to PS2/PSN ports. Crisis Core, Chains of Olympus, Patapon, Locoroco, and probably a few dozen others. It'd help make up for the loss in sales due to piracy/used sales. It makes sense if the PSP2 sans UMD is indeed coming this year.

I hope the ps3 has a long life like the ps2

I blame the PS2 for PS3's lack of BC. I'm dubious as to how much it costs to implement even the software-based BC, and am lead to believe that it's more left out to force PS2 sales than any sort of significant cost reduction on the PS3 itself. This isn't feasible for PS1 games, since PS1s are produced anymore, so that, 'off course', stays in. I just hope that once (if) PS3s can be sold at competitive prices, Sony will finally stop dicking around and consolidate play into a single device.

*aren't
Still, c'mon Sony, I wanna play PS1, PS2, Blu-ray, and maybe some PS3 through one cable, thnx.

I hope they do bring this game to the PS2.....along with Daxter.
I don't have a PSP so this deal works out great for me, besides, how is the PSP losing an exclusive??? It's going to another SONY platform - not the DS, LOL!
