i didnt even know venture bros was in HD, I just assumed it was stretched contect, color me unimpressed by the video quality, now the show itself, one of my faves.
Bagels: Commander in Chief of the lolcat sarcasm alert force. Flying Monkeys beware. @ Mar 23rd 2009 12:26PM
Ooh! QoS comes out this week. It kinda snuck up on me! Can I get one bundled with the special edition Casino Royale Bluray? I was holding off on getting it until QoS comes out. Bourne-I MEAN Craig is definitley more fighter than lover.
umm....hello??? @ Mar 23rd 2009 12:44PM
tempted on the Fast & Furious collection, but it won't include the newest movie coming out this summer, so that makes it a solid NO.

Venture Blu = want.
Unless it's like, inevitably $70.
Great Golem+ @ Mar 23rd 2009 1:44PM

Hell yeah, Venture Bros season 3!
Will that Blu Ray work on my PS3, since I'd have to import it from America, or is the region free thing just on the BR games?
HJSoulma @ Mar 23rd 2009 3:59PM
Depends where you live. PAL areas like Britain no because aspect ratios are different between PAL and NTSC (I.E., totally incompatible), but if you're just in another region number like Japan or Hong Kong it should work. (At least I've never had an issue with import DVDs on my American PS3, I'd assume it works both ways.)

According to a few reports, the discs play fine on a region B player. Don't trust the artwork for the backcover that was posted in December or January, the discs were supposed to be "Region 1" (bad cut and paste job from the DVD jacket).
Go Team Venture!

Craig is quite good, but there isn't any question.
Quantum of Solace was absolutely terrible, though. I mean, wow.
Dartmerc @ Mar 23rd 2009 7:13PM
Really? I thought it was good, the only thing I was frustrated about was he didn't manage to climb any higher or learn anything else about Quantum other than that they exist. But it's obvious they're setting this up as a trilogy, so when the third installment comes out it should be pretty epic; more storytelling than any Bond adventure to date.
SledgeHammer @ Mar 24th 2009 4:52AM
Yep, terrible. "Casino Royale" was great but the producers and the writers have been unable to understand what made it work, apart from Daniel Craig and the update of some elements of the Bond mythology. On QoS, they got rid of too many parts of the tradition, gave the directing job to a hack auteur and got a generic spy thriller with stupid arty touches instead.
yvo84 @ Mar 23rd 2009 8:01PM
Yeah QOS left a lot to be desired in terms of fleshing out the story. But for a revenge tale, it did the job well.
Mike Candelaria @ Mar 23rd 2009 8:14PM
YES FINALLY fast and furious trilogy it's about time
