European PSN releases for April 16

It's DLC city on the European PlayStation Store today. Not only has the hotly anticipated expansion for PixelJunk Eden been released (and at less than £2.50, how can you say no?) but Valkyria Chronicles, Magic Ball and LittleBigPlanet all receive new content, too. Those after full games can enjoy OutRun Online Arcade or Need For Speed Most Wanted on PSP.

Fluorescent Octopus @ Apr 16th 2009 10:50AM
For anyone interested, NFS Most Wanted is easily the best Need for Speed game on PSP, and bar a little repetition with tracks towards the end, it's a pretty sweet game.
Dale Thornton @ Apr 16th 2009 11:24AM
cheers but im not that into nfs games. i really want a good psp download, i got street fighter and go puzzle, they arent bad but nothing amazing.
anyone know if flow is exactly the same as the ps3 version?
oh, and is super stardust portable as good as hd? i dont like the fact you cant see the entire world, its more top down.
mark.mcanally @ Apr 16th 2009 11:46AM
Stardust portable is very good. It's not exactly like HD, obviously, but it is very close and is very good. It will take a little while to get used to firing with the buttons instead of the second stick, but once you get used to it the controls are fine. Tap buttons to fire in a spread pattern, helps alot!
Dynamic3 @ Apr 16th 2009 12:08PM
Wow, $5 for a single mission is pretty expensive, especially since the game is only $30.
David @ Apr 16th 2009 12:21PM
What game are you talking about?
Dynamic3 @ Apr 16th 2009 12:22PM
VC
matsam @ Apr 16th 2009 12:39PM
Some of us paid a lot more than 30 bucks for this game, still worth every penny!
James @ Apr 16th 2009 1:04PM
As far as I know they are both a campaign, not a mission. Campaign = Multiple missions.
Dynamic3 @ Apr 16th 2009 1:09PM
" Edy's Mission "Enter the Edy Detachment" – Edy and five squad members have been separated from Squad 7. In this new mission, players will have to use this small team to defend a small village from an Imperial Army attack."
" Selvaria's Mission "Behind Her Blue Flame" – No more Mr. Nice Guy. This DLC lets you play as the enemy. Play as Johann, an engineer assigned to Selvaria, in a mission that takes place right after the outbreak of Gallian battle lines."
Mission = Mission
John @ Apr 16th 2009 5:52PM
Yeah, wtf? I thought it was going to be $5 for all 3.
InfiniteNine @ Apr 16th 2009 7:05PM
Selvaria pack comes with 4 missions.
Echnaton @ Apr 16th 2009 12:49PM
Stardust Portable is just great ... the best PSP game IMHO ...
For all swiss-people we got the swiss releases (which are sometimes different on our page... this time it's the same ...) on www.games.ch
Patrick @ Apr 16th 2009 12:42PM
Just a note - if anyone's not got Everyday Shooter yet, get in in the sale. It's brilliant.
gentlemanfinn @ Apr 17th 2009 6:33AM
I have been wanting to buy this since i got my PS3 and now is the day, thanks to you!
Dartmerc @ Apr 16th 2009 6:53PM
+1
kfury77 @ Apr 16th 2009 2:27PM
Should I get Out Run? Anyone bought it yet - recommend it? I haven't seen much coverage of it at all... Jem - let us know if its worth a purchase please...
Damian @ Apr 16th 2009 3:41PM
Well Outrun has got a really good review on Eurogamer , i remember reading it yesterday .
I bought Worms today so Outrun can wait a couple of weeks
Funnily enough this morning I got a brand new Valkyria Chronicles for £12.98 in Blockbusters too ! I had no idea DLC was released today and £3.19 seems very reasonable (take note others) . The great game are coming thick and fast on PS3 now , I have 19 games since buying 12 months ago and every one is amazing . Just need to get one of those 320 or 500 gb drives now .
End User @ Apr 16th 2009 1:03PM
I hope you're saying the game is worth every penny, and not the DLC.
I love the game, but after paying $60 at launch, I'm not paying $5-a-piece more for two extra maps and a difficulty level. If I were getting it now for $30, I might consider it, or if they bothered with a trophy patch.
Abdo @ Apr 16th 2009 4:08PM
Hey Jem, how come you guys don't post the Asian PSN releases any more?
magtails @ Apr 16th 2009 6:48PM
You forgot some DLC in that list Jem...
ozjad @ Apr 17th 2009 8:24AM
AArrgh - still no worms on the Australian Playstation store :(
nzgeek @ Apr 16th 2009 9:41PM
Anyone know if Worms has made it onto the Australian/NZ store yet? We missed out on it last week and I hope the remembered to add it this week!
Averna @ Apr 16th 2009 11:57PM
Yeah, come to think of it I don't remember seeing it either. I also noticed that the items for sale dont seem to be any cheaper than normal. Isnt $8.45 the normal price for the smaller PSN games?
TM @ Apr 20th 2009 11:27AM
maybe I missed something but where is the US update this week?
