PixelJunk Monsters may shrink to UMD this June

It'll be interesting to see how SCEA decides on distributing the game here in America. echochrome released as a full UMD game in Asia, but released as a PlayStation Network exclusive here. Perhaps a similar solution will be implemented here.

Finally some new news about this! As much as I hate digital distribution, I wouldn't mind it for game like this. Cant' wait, PJM rules!

Downloadable or UMD, I'm really anticipating the release of this on PSP. I don't have a PS3 but I heard this was addicting and alot of fun and I'm such a sucker for tower defense games.

It will be pointless considering we already have the PS3 version and you can also play it via remote play..
I just hope is like a brand new game with different worlds and enemies

I want this game on my psp. Put away so many hours on the ps3 version. I would love to have the capability to have this in my pocket at all times. As far a umd, this is gonna be a download only thing. If they're doing it for patapon, they're doing it for this.

This game was awesome on PS3 but I think it lends itself perfectly to play on the go. I can actually visualize myself playing the PSP version more than what I played the PS3 one.

This game was awesome on the PS3 but I think its game design lends itself perfectly for the PSP....I actually see myself playing the PSP version more that the PS3 one. It would be nice if the offer some sort of discount for those of us who bought the original game for PS3...not holding my breath though.

My littlest brother just loves PixelJunk Monsters on the PS3, on the other hand his handheld is a DS. Maybe I can get this, and trade my PSP for his DS so I can finally get around to finally playing Chinatown Wars.

In europe we got Echochrome on UMD so hopefully we'll get this on UMD as well.
If they keep release games in the states exclusively on the psn but on umd in the uk I can see the import numbers going up and up

course I might actually also be interested in this game .... so why couldn't they have gone digital with umm ..... I dunno anything EA makes because I hate EA
