Okay, so Fat Princess is still in beta. But it's so close! Can you taste it? We have a fresh batch of new Fat Princess screenshots from Sony's Gamers Day -- check 'em out!

The beta is so freaking awesome, I have to say that it did get a little repetitive after like 20 hours of gameplay, but then, started trying out new ways to play and try different classes and now, its so damn fun...plus, for adults with kids that come here, there is an option to take blood and gore of or just gore off...and btw, If you dont get the urge for some yummy cake from all these lovely colorful cakes in the game, I owe you $5

I agree--aside from the obvious bugs and lag in the game it is pretty addictive to play so far.

My only real complaint is that I'm already bored with playing the black forest map over and over by myself when I can't get on a server.

yea true they should've giving us more than one map to test it gets boring playing on the same map all the time. Yea and I love the deathmatch so much blood and gore but if u want to take away the fun part of the game, there's always a setting which u can remove the bloody part away........ but of course who would not like a bloody cartoon

The Beta is great, but it gets boring when you can't get on a server and have to play with the AI.

The beta is rather good already but these new screens are making me very excited indeed for the full release. The game is so balanced it really gives you the option to play any way you want.

I haven't played online, it too me forever to win, like an hour of nonstop dying, respawning, repeat. Im still learning all the tricks and classes so hopefully it'll improve. Im still not sure if its a day 1 purchase for me, depends on a demo or final review and price (also how much time i have and other games im playing when it comes out)
it'd be really cool if it had local multiplayer (split screen of course)

The beta is SUPERB but online multiplayer's a no-go for now. Even with my 12 Mbps connection, it's so laggy, it's unplayable. It drops games, players, and objects, and it just renders the whole thing online crap. Single player is amazing, though. I love the quirky menus. Character customization is called "Get Fabulous" and the settings menu is called something like "Twiddly Bits". I love the art style and the music too. To change what class you are, from a warrior to a marksman to a wizard (or dark wizard) or priest or ice mage or whatever, you just pick up a hat from either a hat making machine at your base or from an enemy you kill. You upgrade these abilities by having the workers drop resorces into the machines, and things can be built this way also, like a catapult that goes right into the enemy fortress.

Problem with the beta, as many have said, is actually FINDING a stable online game...otherwise it's very fun

I have a question for all you beta testers.

Is it possible to play the game in co-op splitscreen? And is it possible to play the game in co-op splitscreen AND online at the same time? I was thinking of buying the game if I could play the game with 3 of my pals against other people..

The Beta is a lot of fun. So far we had no problem finding a stable online game.

In the beta there is no option for splitscreen at all, however I'm not sure whether or the full game includes splitscreen.
The beta is awesome! I got a full game going yesterday, and it was extremely fun!!
You fellow beta testers should add me! I normally host games :)
