I'm impressed, an unexpected update for someone other than Capcom.
Sony must be having a good day.
Tim Parsons @ May 1st 2009 5:56PM
Sweet time to make use of that EU account of mine was planning to pick this up tonight(if I can find it) so this will help convince me lol
A1 @ May 1st 2009 6:11PM
Its good. A complete rip off of God of War, but in the best possible way.
rohan @ May 1st 2009 11:04PM
yes i thought the same thing but it took it to the next level by have limbs going flying around the place, hopefully GOW3 follows this example
Adam @ May 1st 2009 7:26PM
I agree, the demo was suprisingly good, especially for saying it is a (loose) movie tie-in, I actually wanted to carry on playing after it had finished, and that doesn't happen often with demos.
Marc @ May 1st 2009 7:27PM
I enjoyed the gore, its simplistic, easy to learn, good character models, dumb ass A.I(at least in the demo). My kind of game.

Jem did u check the store to find this or were you informed cos I sent in an email in the early hours of this morning when I'd checked it and it's taken Joystiq nearly 15hrs to update yet without any Kudos for findage.
I'm not trying to bitch but considering Joystiq is primarily updated according to American times/news releases I thought using the "send us tips" link to inform you of a demo that had JUST be released would be news worthy.
I'm kinda hesitant to believe you just stumbles across it. Maybe I wasn't the only one to inform Joystiq, but Kudos to the source/s would be gracious.
Andrew Yoon @ May 4th 2009 5:34PM
Sorry that the right people weren't credited for this story. It was a mistake that I hope won't happen again.
SpiderMike @ May 1st 2009 8:24PM
Jem did you JUST out this info or were you informed?
I only ask as I used the "send us tips" link to let Joystiq know to update about this demo 15hours ago, yet no mention of a thanks or a source.
I'm not saying I'm the only one that may or may not have informed the site but considering the lateness of this update coupled with the fact Joystiq mostly updates on American time I'm also not inclined to believe you were the first to find out either.
Kudos to the source would have been nice, is all I'm saying.

man this game is great. It got a few parts of the Story that are totally different from the movie. Like the Bar fight between Wolverine & Creed in Canada the chick(whoever she was is with him he tells her to run) he's going there with her but in the movie she's dead already and he goes there looking for Creed
j.howlett @ May 2nd 2009 12:10AM
thwarted again. first it was a error that delayed shipping of the game to my house, now it's my unwillingness to make another account.
Deadpool @ May 2nd 2009 1:51AM
Where did you order it from? I ordered my copy from Buy.com, which was cancelled due to an error. But a few days ago they shipped my cancelled order??? I don't what's going on there, but I better get the Ps3 version.
j.howlett @ May 2nd 2009 9:47AM
i ordered from EBgames website for the challenge rooms. there was a problem with the bank but i straightened it out and i got my codes last night. the only problem i've had with buy.com is when i ordered my ps3 bundle they shipped my second controller and game separate. instead of a sixaxis i got a wii nunchuck and wario.

The graphics blow hugh jass... man. Seriously, this game could've been really good if they hadn't rushed it out as an afterthought just in time for the movie. It needs a buttload of polishing.
It is kinda fun but it's not worth 60 bones. A rental at best.
Darkdrium777 @ May 2nd 2009 1:12AM
Just tried it, wow it is really good, devs weren't lying when they said they were making a cool game :)
Additionally grabbed the Red Faction demo, it is good too. (And 1080p, I was honestly surprised)
Games I knew so little about, I'm considering getting them now. Very nice all around.
CzAr @ May 2nd 2009 2:16AM
Wow? Really? I didn't look at the comments, I just went and downloaded the demo.
The sky diving looked like crap, but I looked passed it. And then once I started the combat, it felt really bland. I came back here figuring I'd see nothing but negative comments. I guess I'm the only one not feeling the game.
prodigy69 @ May 2nd 2009 5:43AM
oooh this game (demo) is pretty good, I might get it :)
Thor @ May 2nd 2009 5:43AM
I bought the game yesterday morning before the demo was released on the store. I'm extremely satisfied with the it and would just like to say that the demo is most likely nothing on the game.
Tim Parsons @ May 2nd 2009 12:04AM
Downvoted for the spoiler information.
rohan @ May 2nd 2009 6:11PM
The demo was actually fun.... so if ur saying the game is nothing like the demo then the game must suck....... lol i joke, at first reading all the hype (created by the dev not fanboys) was kinda of put off but i think the demo set me right ( but i have no money right now T____T)
Thor @ May 2nd 2009 7:35PM
Damn my way of putting things... what I meant was that the demo wont be anything compared to the full game. I've completed the story already after 2 days of non-stop playing so I'd say a good 8-10 hours (without my messing around) to complete it.
chris @ May 2nd 2009 7:07PM
Meh. Demo did not impress me at all. Plays like a clone of 'God of War', without the fun.
Another crap movie-game.
crookedview @ May 3rd 2009 2:17AM
Meh. Demo was very unimpressive. Felt like a God of War clone, minus the fun.
Spinning around doing batshit stuff doesn't seem very Wolverine-ish to me.
Didn't expect much considering it's a movie-game.
Ferdasyn @ May 3rd 2009 9:03AM
Downloading now, looks good!
modok @ May 3rd 2009 6:23PM
this might be one of the rare instances when the game is BETTER than the movie, and i've seen the movie...
shadowhowl1900 @ May 3rd 2009 11:44PM
well not neccessarily, remember street fighter?
SourceJR @ May 4th 2009 5:01PM
yeah but that was a movie based on a game plus have u played street fighter the movie the game...
Crazy-008 @ May 4th 2009 10:40AM
lol@ tim parsons...
