PSP mod integrates mouse support
What's the PSP missing? No, not a second analog nub (or hardware refresh), it's missing a mouse!
PSP hacker TokyoDrift found a way to map the handheld's buttons to a mouse, using nothing more than a PS2 mouse, an ATMEL ATmega8 chip-sporting breadboard, and a massive brain. PSP users looking to do this themselves can find all of the steps at the pspfreak.de forums. Of course, it goes without saying that you should probably be somewhat comfortable with homebrew before trying this.
If you want to see it in action before attempting it, or you would like to know why someone would do this, check out some video past the break.

Because, it's hard holding up your psp and keeping it balanced by only holding it at the left side to control yourself, and placing it down to play doesn't seem very good either, makes it harder reaching the L+R buttons, and yeah, more stuff.

66% complete. :) Now we need keyboard support and then we can play on the HDTV with mouse and keyboard :) Of course it then becomes a PSS (PlayStation Stationary) but it would be cool nonetheless :) Imagine playing Resistance on that, for example.

I've read Resistance: Retribution plays great with Dual Shock 3 on the PS3 using PSP Plus and a copy of Resistance 2. PSP badly needs a 2nd Analog Stick

There is already a homebrew app that lets you run your PSP through your PC monitor. Hook up that mouse, add keyboard support, fix yourself up with that service that let's you play PSP games online, and suddenly Medal of Honor sessions get that much more hardcore.

Oi, I forgot about that. Too true my friends, great :)

See, that's the problem with the PSP. It has all these features (even without homebrew), but they're *so* damn complicated and roundabout for anyone but the most hardcore.
