European PSN releases for May 7

It's relatively minor week of releases for the European PSN. The gem of the week is actually a demo of Savage Moon, which came out at the end of January. Other than that it's mostly DLC, including some for Trivial Pursuit, LittleBigPlanet, Wheelman and Tom Clancy's HAWX. PSP owners have a few more games to grab, including the classic Loco Roco and another Fireteam Bravo title.

What about the infamous demo? wow, you guys really have no love for the PS3 (notice I never mentioned anything negative about any other system, just stating an observation, so no one get their panties in a bunch.)
Billop @ May 7th 2009 1:44PM
The demo is only out to those people who preorderd it in the US
David @ May 7th 2009 2:47PM
I preordered it on amazon.co.uk. Do you know when or if I will get an earler demo access? Or some other stuff like Uncharted 2 MP beta or HOME custume?

Savage Moon demo? Cool. I was having trouble deciding whether I should buy it or not. That'll help me decide.

Same.

I was quite enjoying the demo until it popped up halfway through the first non-tutorial level and told me the demo was over, I had no real chance to try it out so no chance of a purchase from me.

worst store update ever what a load of crap.they should have put up infamous demo this week for the uk because we don't get a chance of getting the demo earily bit out of order.

Not bad, at least there's a demo for PS3 owners. No PSone Classics though... I really need to stop complaining about the lack of those.

What's the deal with releasing demos 3 months after a game comes out? With a small game like Savage Moon, I'd imagine having one up front would be quite important... most people who might've bought the game made up their mind long ago. I can understand not releasing a demo up front for a big game like MGS4 to build hype, but even then... releasing a demo several months late made less sense than not releasing one at all.
dgknight500 @ May 7th 2009 3:29PM
studies show that most small, downloadable-only games have better sales without a demo. I'm sure they're releasing it now to get some more light on the game and possibly got a few more sales before its eternally forgotten.
tobz1000 @ May 7th 2009 4:51PM
So they're forcing people to buy the game just to try it? How cheap can you get...
Animagnum @ May 7th 2009 3:36PM
Good god, look at all that PSP content. I guess I shouldn't dare to hope that the US store will see something similar. Probably not.
Andy @ May 7th 2009 8:45PM
whyyyy is the track pack not free? for guitar hero!
finally they release some good metal songs and its free...but no they manage to stuff it up.

First of all it started this morning with SCEEs weekly update of Home.
While everyone was expecting one thing we got something completely different and a whole shitload of new clothes etc. to buy worth a total of £50.. yes FIFTY POUNDS worth of virtual clothing and absolutely nothing to go along with that.
Then they update the PSN Store with the worst possible update imaginable and screw Europe over twice in one day.
